Way to humanize the commitment to being a fighter. A gem of a LIFE lesson when Tom’s dad said “the goal is to drill bad positions to the point where no more bad positions exist.” Great content.

Tom doesn't get what chael is trying to say, talking shit is not the only way to promote yourself he doesn't have to Colby or Connor to promote himself, it's about creating the narrative. For example, he should be pushing this fight to be the number one contenders match, he should be pushing for getting a shot at the interim tittle, we all like Francis and he doesn't have to talk shit about him but the reality is that he is going to be out for more than a year and even more time if wants to take time to box fury, and why should the guys like tom and Curtis that keep the division alive not be rewarded while Francis stales the division? it's not fair and that's a narrative tom can take, that's what Chael means, no need to talk shit it's about creating narratives Like Chael mentioned, if Stipe and Jones fight why should they get the interim fight? One of them had to be woken up to be told he is no longer the champion and the other one is a light heavyweight who arguably lost his last 2 fights. The winner of tom va blaydes should fight the winner of gane vs Tuivasa for the interim title and keep the division alive until Francis decides to return, because we still don't know if the guy is even gonna fight again in the UFC That's the narrative Tom should be putting out there. That's how he can promote himself to a title shot.

There is not a man on God's green earth that is more dangerous than Tommy Aspinall. He's got everything you look for in a fighter: world class wrestling, granite chin, power in both hands, and the heart of a lion. On top of that he has all of the intangibles: great personality, funny, charismatic, ripped body, cute smile, etc. The man has absolutely ZERO holes in his game. He's trained with Tyson Fury in boxing and has trained in BJJ his whole life. AND he moves like a middleweight! This is the future of fighting everybody. You are looking at an all time great.
