The Oscar winning animated Tom and Jerry short.

Man the ending is really dark I thought that Tom was supposed to guard the table and Jerry and his little friend Tuffy got him killed..and they're like Oh Well...not very heroic!

While it was pretty harsh that Tom was EXECUTED for not dealing the mouse problem, that ending certainly made it an absolutely unforgettable episode.

Looks like you found a French version too, the one I'm familiar with, Nibbles speaks English with a French accent and has the catch-phrase "Touché Pussy Cat!" In this version he says "Monsieur le chat" :)

Does anyone not realise that when tuffy swings his sword he always has his eyes closed.

Nowadays the Tom and Jerry cartoons are less violence and more just nonsensical and they just don't have the same kick as they did back then even during the 90s I saw that Tom and Jerry movie not the 90s one but the recent one and I was not impressed with that film at least the 90s film had plastic and comedy and Tom and Jerry Shenanigans this one just doesn't make sense in the real world

Sadly Tom never wins. Were supposed to just root for Jerry. But there are cartoons like this one I wish he'd just eat Jerry slowly.
