I love tofu, but i wish our local Aldi's would have it consistently, it's so hard to get lately. I was never fond of meat so I'm not big on emulating dead animals like many vegan recipes seem to do, I just want the taste and texture to hit that high note! Happy mother's day to all you amazing, resourceful, hard working moms!!!

It has an oily mayo-like aftertaste which is not good for me. Have they changed your original recipe to increase profit at the expense of taste and quality? Please let me know.

Looks pretty damn nice, cheers. I'd be (no, I will be) turning that marinade into a mushroom (and maybe onion) gravy, thicken it with a rice flour roux. I normally use miso but that might be overkill with the balsamic and soy, maybe it won't. Only one way to find out.
