This is a very realistic look at what a toddler swim lesson actually looks like. As we all know toddlers just want to play and have fun so trying to get them to listen isn't the easiest.
In this video my toddler has now learned to swim and we are practicing the 5 skills that are needed to help him to advance his swimming.

It has been a long journey getting my son to this point. Teaching your own child how to swim can be difficult however when it finally happens it is so rewarding and worth it. We started by taking him through baby swimming teaching him the basics and as his water confidence grew we progressed him onto more difficult learn to swim skills.
He is still very much a beginner but once he is able to hold his breath for longer and float on his back he will become more proficient at swimming in a pool.
