In this video I progress my 4 year old son from Baby swimming lessons to toddler swimming lessons. He has now been learning for the last few years when we have found time to go to the swimming pool so is really familiar with going underwater and learning to swim. When teaching a toddler to swim it is really important to keep the lesson fun, with more emphasis on playing in the water and safety which help to build their confidence. This swimming lesson is for beginners and intermediate swimmers or those wanting to start their journey with swimming lessons for kids. I hope these swimming tips help you to teach your child how to swim. I have been a swim teacher for 15 years and am so excited to be able to teach my son this important life skill. It is so important to start swimming lessons when they are young so their confidence can grow as they do. Teaching a baby or toddler to swim means breaking down the fundamental skills into bite size fun activities for them to take part in. During this lesson I teach my son how to swim with drills and games. This lesson plan can be adapted for baby swimming lessons, swimming lessons for kids and swimming lessons for toddlers. Swimming lesson for beginners will build the core skills needed for their future swim journey when they learn to swim freestyle, learn how to swim underwater, learn how to swim faster and everything in between.
