This is really moving me to learn more about how I can live the law of consecration. Thank you, Br. McLaughllin I felt the Spirit so strong! For months now I knew I needed something. This gave me hope! I think this is where I am supposed to go and to make my Temple worship more meaningful.

An acronym for repent the lord shared with me a while ago. I pray it may be received. REPENT: Receive Eternal Protection Embrace Nurturing Truth Jesus lives and loves us all!

It is amazing how the depth of truth can be found without going through a hierarchy of teachers. Also the fact that wisdom is scattered among Us. It isn't just the most successful, commercial or public, where you will solve the drought and want for hearing the word of the Lord. How deep is the rabbit hole? I don't think there is a bottom. I hope and pray we can all retain the knowledge that we have been witness to

We are all "in-process" and we don't claim to represent the Church on anything we publish, but there are so many amazing faithful followers of Christ who have given amazing offerings of research, life-study and sacrifice to our dear Savior's cause. The Fall brought fear/shame. Come to Christ, for Jesus said, I will give you peace. If we have his peace/calm/rest, there is no more fear.

I have felt the Spirit telling me there is truth in Todd McLauklin’s two presentations I have listened to. Thanks for sharing this beautiful information. It has helped me see there’s more I should be doing to prepare for consecration and having the Lord in my life.

Exactly Jan. I haven't felt this strong of the Holy Spirit and total humility that I don't know how to do this. I started out asking Heavenly Father where do I start and...this was totally amazing!!!

Years ago I questioned how we (I) could be of one heart with everyone else. The answer I was given was to become one with the Savior and by doing so I would then become one with everyone to whom He is one with.

Pres Nelson has said “ "When Jesus asks you and me to 'repent,' He is inviting us to change our mind, our knowledge, our spirit-even the way we breathe.” I wonder what he means by the way we breath?

This was really profound for me. I've been having a lot of thoughts in these topics, and this presentation really helped guide my thinking. Thank you for putting this kind of content online!

One important aspect of the law of consecration is that it must be administered by the Bishop. It cannot be lived, as a church, without priesthood authorization.

The truth of it is Christ has it covered. His grace is sufficient and if you are afraid that your not worthy you don’t trust that Christ has it covered. As soon as we think it is something we can do we then we don’t have faith in him. I’d recommend everyone get into the gospels in the Bible and Paul’s epistles. Spend time in the book of John and let the words of grace spoken in those books.

Great suggestion. Paul is one of my favorites for fierce faith, and I wanted to have his attitude to praise God in the storms, and count it small. I never realized what a journey of sore persecution and ruin could visit me, my family, business etc. But how could we truly "descend" like the Savior, without seeking to ascend (Jacob's ladder-Earth Schooling) toward the Savior's example. Yes, He completely covers us with His covenant...and we always have a choice to honor our best efforts to honor Him back in our growth, choices, development, thoughts, feelings, and the process of Educating our Hearts His Ways. He does ask us to do hard things sometimes, and He is the most amazing Heart Surgeon too. Why we we be cheated of the process of "Becoming" more like Him? More whole and complete? ツ

You have a discussion about the return of plural marriage. I think it's quickly coming with the law of consecration, after all that's consecrating EVERYTHING. It's the ultimate sacrifice. It's about giving every faithful woman a husband, not every husband many wives. A hint that it's coming is the fact that in the temple the wording now is ambiguous. It says "husbands & wives" instead of "husband & wife". What's the point of more confusion unless it's because it's coming?

I agree. The servant to come will restore ALL things. It is a law from the foundations of the earth. We need to prepare ourselves and remember that God knows more than us. You cannot have consecration without plural marriage. They will go hand in hand.

We will not be able to without this powerful priesthood. I know it goes against our tradition. But God’s ways are not our ways. ❤️

@@Sallygirl111 the Lord loves us and has been very clear in scripture what ways he hopes we look for and find. That way is Christ and I testify He is the way and the light for which we should search. Any other way is the way of man or possibly the devil himself. At least that what scripture says and I believe that matters.

Enoch and his people learned to live the law, the Nephites and Lamanites learned to live the law, both groups had Christ among them “oft” helping them know how to live the law, the Millennium will be a time we live the law, and Christ will be among us… is it possible to live the law without Christ among us? Just a thought…

IMO, “Christ” is a pattern not a person. We think that Christ was Jesus’s last name when obviously it isn’t…..it’s Jesus “the christ”. It’s a title, a pattern. When anyone lives with Christ among them, it just means that they are living in accordance with the Christ pattern

@@yeboscrebo4451 Correct, Yahweh is the person, “the Christ” is one of his manny titles like “the Messiah” or “the Savior”… but the scriptures are clear that both groups actually had the person Yahweh in their midst physically with them “oft”, and during the Millennium he will again be physically here on earth with us… my personal opinion is that his physical presence makes it possible to successfully live the law, after all it is a law he already lives, so helping us live it too is a piece of cake for him… I cannot wait to see what the Millennium actually turns out to be, I am sure it is going to be even more amazing and wonderful than we think it will be 💗💗💗

Thanks for the feedback. We know the group discussions are always hard to capture, but even though we spend hours post-editing almost every video (which is done on a volunteer basis by me), it is hard to make those adjustments in any room without many multiple feeds and microphones. We hope people understand. ;)

Todd's presentations have helped me so much! I totally get everything he is speaking of. His thoughts on fear holding us back from consecrating ourselves to the Lord was spot on! It was the break through that I needed..I can't thank him enough! His last comments regarding the process of receiving personal revelation.. specifically regarding plural marriage..was another spot on! I have been through this process and the Lord sent me to places I needed to go for info. When I presented Him with the info. his spirit clearly revealed this to me...multiple times. The Lord needs info. to work with before he can reveal if something is true or not. I'd love to know how to connect with Todd if he has a blog or other writings. Love Robert Kay too! Thnx for these presentations.

A couple points: there is only one way to be saved and that is Jesus Christ. The scriptures say no one else stands at the gate right? The scriptures say it clearly and multiple times that if we put all our trust in Him we shall be saved. Also, Zion, the Kingdom of God is in our hearts. Joseph wrongfully prophesied of this location of Zion multiple times and we’re still going to focus on a physical place here on the earth that will be destroyed in the second coming?

I agree. The saints trekked across the plains looking for Zion, half of them dying or suffering miserably, and never finding any such physical place because they misunderstood that Zion isn’t a physical place it’s the pure in heart. The kingdom of heaven is WITHIN and “not of his world”. Anyone looking for it “lo here or lo, there” as a physical place in this world deceived. It seems pretty clear to me from scripture. The church’s popular usage of the phrase “building the kingdom of god on earth” seems to be in direct contradiction to the teach8ngs of Christ IMO. I could be very wrong though, I dunno.

@@yeboscrebo4451 I’ve interpreted the scripture the same way so it’s always made me wonder. The pioneers did accomplish a lot in Utah but it could have gone a lot better. Lots of pride and money pinching led to the Willie Martin handcart company deaths and the theocratic way of life in the Territory at the time is a Wild West bleep show!!! But they did it and now we get to learn from them.

Zion is to be built by the returned 10 tribes. It will be joined by the returned city of Enoch, which is translated and already in the the paradisiacal state.. It will not be destroyed at His coming, but preserved. He will destroy the wicked and cleanse the Earth of all impurities. Zion will have no impurities because one definition of Zion is the pure in heart. Another name for the city of Zion is New Jerusalem. It will be built in a physical place, in Jackson County, MO. Joseph Smith is a true prophet and he made no error.

1:19:02 - I'm getting DoC vibes. Is this guy DoC (Doctrine of Christ)? Be incredibly cautious with people who are straying into that group.

Todd teaches about Christian principles and laws, but for sure, he is not a person running that group (if it's a group?). Good advise. This is not part of that group or body of whatever seems out-of-sorts. It's good to be discerning. Thanks. :)
