This is Episode 6 of Season 6 (1986/1987), episode number 103/120 for the program, entitled "Teeth"
This program was intended to be supportive and educational for young children, preschoolers (age 2/3) through young elementary school age (8/9). It can be enjoyed by anyone. This is the original and unedited program, as it appeared. Features of this program include puppetry, live action hosts, interactive games, songs and the discussion of feelings and learning how to deal with them.
Summary: A new night janitor (Max Dumphy) has a very powerful vacuum cleaner and accidentally sucks up Jodie's ticket for an upcoming concert. Max, Muffy and Sam all try to find and retrieve the ticket but it is damaged. Max is remorseful for his actions and looks for a way to apologize. Jodie's other friends buy her a gift of flowers to show that they care about her feelings. Max asks the concert performer (Canadian folk singer Valdy) if he could please come tro the store the next night to meet Jodie as a treat and he does. The importance of taking responsibility for ones actions, showing sympathy for others misfortune and being a good friend are explored.
