i was already divorced for a few years. when i heard this. Feels hideous no one wins esp not the children. I cant ever get back the lost years w my children . The song hits exactly the experience of it all

I was also going through a divorce at the time ... not ALL Women make out well in divorce. I liked this cuz it gave me my existence perspective : very hard on the kids, as well as my surprise when he Called on his Cell Phone on his Lunch at the new job we were "moving" for. He had help planning this exit. All sad. My girls turned out well despite his plan & for that I am Thankful. This song & Toby gave me a new outlook on life RIP and hugggzzz to your family 😢

Completely agree, except I'll disrespect his later career. Some of it was still good, like It's A Little Too Late, but some of it was garbage. Lol...1993-1995 was incredible, though.

Part of me passed with Tobey, I can't explain how Country Music , Tobey in particular helped one of my daughters survive. His greatest hits album in the mid to late 90s was a comfort to one of my twin babies born pre-mature. She only listens to Country music to this day, she and her sister are 33 now. I miss Toby so much. I feel like I lost a brother. Loved him as performer and person
He was in his hey-day for sure, so young, handsome, earnest.
I've been a fan since I was a little kid (20 now). This is the first time I've seen a video of him singing live. I've just been going on his CDs and music videos till now. Can't say enough good things about him. Prayers for his health.
