I bought one the other day that will be delivered tomorrow I already plan to replace the string trees the bridge and the tuners (with locking tuners) and strings but that is mainly just because I want to do it not because I have to 😁

I wondered if you were gonna get the kisser. Congrats. A lot of companies are beginning to use composites like HPL, Tech Wood, and Engineered Wood. We know HPL is basically “grocery bag” type of paper saturated with resins. We also hear that Martin Guitars uses it extensively, though we have not yet confirmed it. We also hear that Tech Wood is primarily poplar with a bit of African Obeche for hardness. We’re curious about Engineered Wood, because it can be so many different kinds of wood, in so many different forms, processed in so many different ways. Glad you like your new ax.

The current richlite boards seem to absorb endless oil. I quit oiling one I have for fear the fretboard would unglue. lol.

Yeah makes you wonder eh? I have never heard of that happening though🤔 and as for me, I never over condition my fretboards. Only when I notice the dryness, do I re-condition. I keep my guitars in a humidified room regulated at 45% humidity. 😀

Yup very surprisingly good guitar for sure! Health is great! For the last 2 months, I stopped eating refined sugars. It's hard because almost everything contains white sugar now a days! But I have lost virtually all excess body fat. Especially noticable around the gut area! Body fat % is down and strength is up so all good! White sugar is a slow and silent killer! Hahaha Hope you're doing well☺️

Great guitar with SS frets for under $300 CAD! I changed out the knobs on my version, too. Fun demo. Will the tele version show up?😂😅

HPL fretboards seem to be increasingly common, even on some high-end Gibsons and Martins. They’re similar to Formica countertops, and some HPLs can even look and feel similar to Ebony. So is this a full thickness body? Or is it thinner than a normal Fender Jazzmaster? Regardless, it obviously has very good bones! Have you set those pickups to the proper height for a P90? I ask because at my end here, those P90’s don’t seem to have quite as much clarity as some others I’ve seen on your channel like on the Westcreek DC, but they’re not bad-they still have a hint of twang on the bridge and sparkle on the neck! The StewMac Fret Kisser seems like a very good tool for spot leveling-I’ve thought about getting one before.

Never had a Jazzmaster, but I'd say the thickness is definitely on par. Whatever these boards are they feel great and are super stable. I never adjust pickups to recommended heights. I use my ear and set them to where I like what I'm hearing😉

This is a great looking guitar and sounds great for its price!! Aside from tele, offset bodies are my pet peeve 😀 do you have a link for these? 😀

Hahaha well you can install whatever pickups you want but depending on what you install, you may have to do some additional routing and pickguard mods. 😄

This thing is sweet

if toastar had a tele....id be willing to bet anything youd jump on it to see if the QC is as good on it as it is on this one haha!! plus youre a tele guy anyway sooooo..... i found a design flaw on my tease tele....ill explain in full detail soon....dosent affect playability tho....ez fix i believe...i fixed my monoprice os30 the same way...

@@j-man9457 koool! outta the box its fine but ill bring dem strings a lil lower.... its not torstens fault or tease fault.... but i think whoever put the "lip" along with a single coil route for the neck spelled trouble should you ever want/need to remove the screatchplate without removing the neck every time...wasnt thinking lol! other than that its a fine guitar!

I often wonder why the heck these newer heard of companies,put their name on the headstock, I could see this guitar flying off the shelf, if it didn't have the name on the headstock, they should leave it blank, just put your logo on the back of the back of the headstock, and put a decal in the box,if a buyer wants to use it, give them that choice, the guitar is awesome in every way, but the logo won't help it sell, fesley with it's logos everywhere is another example of a guitar that looks great,but I would not buy, simply because of the name plastered every where, can you imagine how cool this tostar would look if you sanded the logo off.

Yeah good point. It could be an administration legality or a GDP obligation that the manufacturer has to follow... But I agree no logo would be nice. On this guitar, because of the painted headstock. Sanding the logo would require repainting the head stock and matching this matt finish would be difficult however not impossible😀
