Toast is in Star Wars? Yea, Sure - Toast of Tinseltown
Комедия
No one believes Steven is going to be in the new Star Wars movie (Aptly titled 'Force the Wind').
This is especially funny because Matt Berry (Toast) actually is in Star Wars (The Book of Boba Fett) doing voiceover work, as usual.
Scenes are from Toast of Tinseltown, and The Book of Boba Fett S1E3

*He can play literally any role and deliver literally any dialog and I would eat it up like candy.* How can you not just love him.
the ability to be able to get 4 minutes out of one running joke tells you how good this comedy is
When I saw his name in the credits of Boba Fett I almost died. I knew that voice, I just couldn't place it right away.

The funny thing is that HE ACTUALLY IS in the Book of Boba Fett... albeit not actually in a starring role.

Toast? No
Better plot twist of the year. Instead of "it was actually all a dream", this is "that's just what really happened in the real world." Brilliant.
I hope he's okay after finding out he's only got one line, I would hate to see him spiral out of control and end up in a really dark place....

This is no way to prepare for my role in a major science fiction moseeyun picture franchise!
I was wondering if there was going to be an acknowledgement that Matt Berry did voice a character or two in the Disney + Star Wars series.

I love this man's line delivery. Everything he says is great!
One of the many funny things about this is, they usually shoot the Star Wars movies in England.
They pulled the same joke in Fallout! A beautiful meta joke.
i wonder how he got that part, must have been his charismaaaaaaaeeeeeeeeh
I love the actor but I loved how this was actually true as a voice over lmao
He was brilliant in the IT crowd.

so happy that fallout properly utilized matt berry. The Mr. Handy robot stomps the shit out of that boring ass whatever it is in star wars. How do you cast Matt Berry and then utterly waste him in the role? Come on

When i heard that toast of london was going to be back on tv i was thrilled and waited about a year or so after it was announce, i have been a fan of toast since it first aired on channel 4, but when i saw toast of Tinseltown and saw all of the episodes, Honestly it was disappointing, the camera work, the writing, the acting on some of the actors, and the censorship and lack of freedom that the BBC on the shows creators, compared to what channel 4 gave, which actually made it funny and worth watching! the camera work is so clean and doesn't feel right at all! doesn't feel the same as toast of london! i don't know what they did to screw this up or why they shot it like this! the censorship is annoying! the C word was not allowed! why! channel 4 gave total freedom in swear words and the BBC censored it! and made it god awful to watch when they just spelt it as C++t... etc, etc. and there was no songs by matt berry, which in toast of London was good and interesting and catchy! honestly this so called show, is not worth watching at all! everything that was once good and was made and created by matt berry with the help of channel 4 was totally ruined by the BBC! Why they sold the rights to toast of London to the BBC i never know! and when i saw the reviews and seeing people give it high reviews and saying it was good are either R++++ded or just dont understand good comedy to bad!
I don't get the joke

In the show no one believes Toast when he says he's going to be in Star Wars. He thinks he is going to be a lead actor. In the end he just has a small voice over part. In real life the actor Matt Berry was cast at this time to be in the Book of Boba Fett; which was for a small voice over part as a droid. So the show was mirroring reality a bit.
I heard he doesn't like girls with boyfriends...

I believe the BBC kinda ruined this show. It was better on CH4. This is just my opinion of course. Oh look, it's Ray 'ucking' Purchase...
Didn’t really enjoy this one. Toast of London is superb though.
Kinda painful to watch a funny comedian interact with American improv actors.
