For those who love TWS and talk about your memories of the 90s, these guys still tour regularly. I encourage you to find some small music venue where they are playing near you and go. They remain a wonderful show. Just saw them a couple of months ago with my girlfriend who had never seen them before, and she was blown away. Their drummer is new, but otherwise they are the same band. Support live music at small venues!!!

I have a very abnormal serious epilepsy ,and cant go or do certain things (even concerts ) I always wanted to see a concert , but love the fact I can atleast see them on TV.

As time went on I was able to listen to it without tears. I went on here to listen to Silent Lucidity by Queensryche. Toad the Wet Sprocket songs were recommended. I listened to Walk on The Ocean All I Want then this one. After 10 yrs once again it made me cry

Gin Blossoms and Toad the wet sprocket, in my opinion were probably two of the best bands from the 90's. Lots of good music from that decade, I'm boomer age(70). Think the 90's were the last good decade for music, overall.

There is an aspect of songwriting that almost never gets a mention, except among professionals talking professionally, and the is the arrangement of the song. Some tunes just flow, even across tempo and key changes, and others just clunk along. This song is an example of the finest kind of arranging, one that lets the song breathe and move around without ever losing the flow.

While being just a bit younger than you (58) I completely understand and agree 100%. Mid 60's to the mid 70's was the best. We were witness to the music "Revolution". And you could FEEL how special a time it was. It was all so fresh and creative and it was available to us at the flip of the switch on our radio's and in great abundance. We didn't have to "Seek" it out. Then came the 80's......oh my. Disco.....ugh and big hair bands. Everything sounded the same. The 90's brought back creativity and it was "Oh SO welcome". While there are always good bands out there, it will never be the same. And we now see the adults who grew up during the 90's saying the same thing. They are now seeing what we saw back in the day as they experienced the unique creative music our generation were privy to and the great appreciation for such. Apologies for the lengthy reply. I have no self edit button :-)

Its sad because music like this is so beautiful and sticks with you . You remember the melody and you feel good when it plays. Not all, but so much stuff today has no substance and for so long now is a bunch of whining and rhyming every other sentence. But the rhymes have no thought, they are just put together to get the song sold. And several generations now have no idea what really good music was and can be.
