One of the best, most laid back concerts I have ever been to. Going to a Toad concert is like sitting at a bar and listening to some really insanely talented guys take you for a musical ride in a really big, comfy car for a couple hours. Can't wait to see them again.

Funny- last time I saw Glen Phillips play was in a room above a bar (maybe 120 people-2017). Jobn Kingham was also there, but not the band. Super cool show. I have tix tonight for the whole band- 1st Post Covid Concert.

@@Zizzyyzz , You've got to know that the backlash from "Fly from Heaven", kept Toad from being fully appreciated for what they are, The world's best Art Rock band. They redifined "Soul" Music for me. It still amazes me how many music fans "don't know" this band. "Fly from Heaven" was brilliant, but there was a great cost to the band.

one of the most underated bands ever. Saw them in the UK mid 90's in front of about 4 people and a dog and they were incredible. I still love them now

Glenn Philips is one of the great song writers and story tellers of our generation. Dulcinea is my favorite album (having read Don Quixote). Windmills is my favorite song. I saw them live for the first time last week. It was great experience.

Chris Williams and I were fresh out of Iowa living in Carpinteria. Chris won a drinking contest for KJEE for Toad tickets. The day of the concert, Chris and I took the bus to Santa Barbara after eating mushrooms for the first time. Very long story short... When we finally made it to Victoria Hall, the guy taking the tickets asked Chris if he would be drinking tonight. Chris, all mushroomed out, screamed repeatedly that he hadn't had a drop to drink. I started to worry when security bro got on his walkie and told us to wait on the side as others passed by. Suddenly, We're led front and center with Jill Sobule singing the original "I Kissed A Girl". As I was dancing with the down syndrome bro next to me, I remember suddenly twirling a bro in a wheelchair on Chris' left. Years later... I realized that we were ushered into the special needs section. Best concert EVER.

I listened to Something's Always Wrong for... 10 years or so. Never got into the band in any way, just didn't try or search for some reason. This summer holiday I thought maybe i'll just listen to their albums through and see if there's other diamonds like that one. I must say, they are so very consistent. The most consistent band I know. Doesn't matter which album I play, it's very good through and through. Like a chat over a beer with your best friend, good lyrics, melodies and those harmonies...

my college roomate in 1987 came home with a bunch of 'demo' records his dad, an executive at Columbia Records had given him. Fishing through the pile, i came across "Bread & Circus", and was at first drawn to it by the weird graphics and the silly band name. When i played it on my stereo (rack system!) the first time: it felt like a door opened in the universe, and i fell into a new realm where i felt i belonged and everything made sense. I've been an undying fan ever since. This band is so incredibly underrated.

I happened to see the movie Fear with Mark Wahlberg and Reese Witherspoon the other night and the part of the movie where Reese is reading a letter starts off with Something’s Always Wrong playing in the background. And, when that song was playing it was the only part of the movie I liked. So, I started listening again and here we are enjoying Toad the Wet Sprocket Live. So glad I just caught their song in the Fear movie soundtrack. Thanks for the great years of music. TTWS has marked an epoch in music history. Enjoy!

I saw Toad the Wet Sprocket in 1994 at the University of Nevada Reno "Old Gym" and they were amazing. The show ended with a cover of "Cinnamon Girl" and it just blew my mind - hope to find that cover somewhere on KZread. I bought all of their CDs and have been listening to them ever since. Just realized there are a couple of new albums so I will be finding those and adding them to my collection! Thank you for the music Toad!

I had the pleasure of taking my kids to see them during this tour and was able to take pictures with them after the concert when they came down into the audience after most people had left. I was so glad to be able to thank each of them personally and in person for providing me with music that got me through a very rough patch in my life after returning from combat overseas 20 years prior .

I saw these guys open for Let's Active in 1989 at the Ventura Theater. Then at DK's West Indies bar in SLO with Nothing and Spencer the Gardener. Been a fan ever since. I'd love to see a reunion tour with those three bands. Maybe I can get Brad Nack to sign my Nothing cassette again.

Toad they are all great musicians and phenomenal song writers dean dinning is one of my favorite bass players his bass lines make those great songs even better and he’s a great backup singer too

His comment as to why record companies wanted them....they are very skilled, that's why.... :) I missed them opening in 1995 for Hootie, My gf at the time wanted to see Hootie, I was there for Toad only! Saw them at UNCG in 92 as they played for the freshman class too, I was hooked since then. 😎👍😎

I once called out sick to see Glen and got busted so they fired me. I turned back around and spent my entire bank account following to the rest of the shows through the Southeast. Best time ever. That last leg, I had just enough for gas and 1 krystal to get me through the drive home. His voice will always make me feel young again.

Saw these guys with big head Todd in Columbus Ohio outside.... It was fu*king awesome from start to finish
