I’ve been listening to this a lot lately. I never knew it was Bob Dylan track until recently too. It’s such a beautiful song. Lyrically Bob wrote it but she really brought the meaning of it to life. Also, I seemed to always hear it when I was in the car and my whole brain would just check out from reality.. I love this song so much & she made it perfect. 🎶🖤

Always thought this song would sound good with some Spanish guitar, would love to find a more mariachi sounding version of it too

No big production..no backing singers..no dancers...just a live vocal.... pure talent..beautiful voice...on key..in tune no vocoda Sinead such a wonderful song...one of the times where the cover is as good as..if not better than the original.. Just one word for this performance....Fabulous..

This is a fricking masterpiece

Dylan might have written it but this girl really heard it and turned it into something so much better...beautiful song.

Time and Time again, I come back to listen to this song and each time it touches me.

I have put this on repeat numerous times and just listen over and over. I can't get enough of it. It really speaks to me. I love the singer, the musicians, and the song. Thank you all.

Ramona has got to be one of the greatest songs ever and this version does it the justice it deserves.

I seen her in the cork opera house in 1994, it felt like i had been invited into her kitchen for a sing song. Sinead I loved that concert, it had such a homely feel to it and of course the video gives some idea how brillant the concert was. Come back soon, your are missed.

Simply the best version of one of the best songs ever written. I once referred it onto a friend who was struggling and she later said it saved her life. Wow!

This is the best cover of a Dylan song ever. I had confirmation of that when I asked my friend Mike Harding to play it on his internet podcast and Donal Lundy,on this video agreed.

I don't know if this girl was even born when this brilliant song was written, but it sounds as if it was written for her. Still causes a chill down my spine and i don't know how many times i've heard it.

How lovely she is, and how beautifully she sings ... She pulls off one of the best Dylan covers ever. Sure, it's a shame she's no longer active in music, but what matters is she once was, and this performance alone made it all worthwhile. Brings a tear every time ...

One of my favorit bob song waw so good lost for words

I simply find this song 'eternally young', even at 20 years of age. Sinead was (and probably is) a stunning talent with a truly unique vocal quality that made her immediately vocally unbeatable and so esy in expressing her talent. (Anything with the name Donal Lunny attached, immediately bears listening to).

Can't believe I just found this, I'm not familiar with it but Sinead has just has me listening on repeat! Beautiful!

I heard this riveting song first on Terry Wogans early morning radio show and just had to look it up. Sorry to hear that Sinead no longer works in music but she’s achieved with just this one recording a timeless piece that cannot be bettered or equaled. God bless and keep you always, wherever you are.

Maybe you're a Dylan fan and might follow a link to this or maybe find it accidentally and you will listen to it once or twice and think to yourself "that's quite good". Then it will pop into your head at some random time and you'll give it another listen. But one evening after a couple of drinks you'll listen again…..and again …and again... forever This is the definitive Dylan cover, Sinead's voice, the lyrics, the delivery, the consumate musicianship, everything comes together perfectly. Every day for two weeks I've been visiting this lady I'm definitely in love with her voice and beautiful magnetic movements

She sings this so well that when i first heard it on the radio i thought it was her own song until i discovered it was bob dylan's. Fantastic performances from both. Memories of driving with this blasting!

Sinead Lohan is simply spectacular in this video; subtle with her inflections, and powerful with simplicity. Can it be we will never see or hear from her again? I can only hope we will. She is truly a treasure to behold!

I heard this song for the 1st time the day before yesterday when a friend of mine sent me the link. I had never heard any version of the song before, not to mind this masterpiece, can hardly believe I never came across it before, but so glad I did.

I keep replaying this song. The poetry of it is brutalising. Dylan's finest monolgue to a woman friend Ramona who is so disburbed at events and driven to despair to consider leaving the scene. Dylan tries to dissuades her. Beautifully written song with a superlative melody. Made in heaven. They have said that when Dylan took up guitar the world lost a great storywriter. Too true ..

She is just phenomenal she speaks the gospel to me whatever mood I'm in her mother and my aunt were Great friends but I never got to meet her and she grew up ten minutes from me hope she makes a comeback .!

Very beautifully sung. The emotions almost like that of Bob Dylan's. She will go places with this kind of sing. She has even prompted me to learn this song.. All the best to Sinéad.

Well said, everything depends on one's taste. No one can say that a singer is better than another one. I prefer to hear Sinead sing Bobs Dylan's song than Bob himself, but one could prefer Bob, the original, and that is fine that way. Mozart is not better than Beethoven, and vice-versa, and I like both of them in a different manner.

Sinèads dejlige stemme og og teksten flyder bare sammen i en skøn harmoni og jeg vil sige at hun faktisk gøre det bedre end Mesteren 😊 ('ve been listening to Dylan since the 60's, also many cover versions. Sinèad's lovely voice and and the lyrics just flow together in a wonderful harmony and I would say that she actually does it better than the Master)

In 1996 I was a baby at 36. Never heard this until John Creedon played it one day about 4-5 years ago. Absolute ... only way to describe it. What a voice. What a beautiful lady. Eyes a bit sad. Up Cork and that's coming from a Kerryman. Accompanying musicians excellent.
