My world has slipped away. But this song reminds me of what is true. Thank you.
Absolutely beautiful rendition of a classic. Sinead certainly does it justice. Such a pity shes not recording anymore. Much respect to Sinead !!!
Spectacular!!!
Different time, same feelings. Beautiful song!!!
Beautiful version from the brilliant Sinead, such a pity she’s no longer performing, hopefully we’ll get to hear this majestic voice again some day.
Sends you to a different time and world , such beauty and peace ❤️

I fell head over heels for her.
The way she sings “There’s no use in trying to deal with the dying …” is beautiful

An emotional version (and better than the original) of this song. For such a small country, Ireland has produced top artists in all genres.🇮🇪
wish I had this whole video.!
This is class
wonderful, a pleasure meeting you
Ramona, come closer Shut softly your watery eyes The pangs of your sadness Will pass as your senses will rise For the flowers of the city Though breathlike, get deathlike sometimes And there's no use in tryin' To deal with the dyin' Though I cannot explain that in lines Your cracked country lips I still wish to kiss As to be under the strength of your skin Your magnetic movements Still capture the minutes I'm in But it grieves my heart, love To see you tryin' to be a part of A world that just don't exist It's all just a dream, babe A vacuum, a scheme, babe That sucks you into feelin' like this I can see that your head Has been twisted and fed With worthless foam from the mouth I can tell you are torn Between stayin' and returnin' Back to the South You've been fooled into thinking That the finishin' end is at hand Yet there's no one to beat you No one t' defeat you 'Cept the thoughts of yourself feeling bad I've heard you say many times That you're better than no one And no one is better than you If you really believe that You know you have Nothing to win and nothing to lose From fixtures and forces and friends Your sorrow does stem That hype you and type you Making you feel That you gotta be exactly like them I'd forever talk to you But soon my words Would turn into a meaningless ring For deep in my heart I know there is no help I can bring Everything passes Everything changes Just do what you think you should do And someday maybe Who knows, baby I'll come and be cryin' to you
She’s so good!
And one day she will!
Wow. I really love this professional cover of Bob Dylan' "To Ramona ", which is one of my favourite Dylan songs. Didn't know this lady singing with such a melodic melancholic voice, until I remembered a Dylan concert from 2o12 in Bad Mergentheim, found my footage of that song and others and uploaded it. KZread then led me to your video and Snead Lohan. What a wonderful discovery. Is she still performing?

beautiful cover
The poet sings too❤❤❤
I can't understand why this video isn't getting comments! I'd imagine if Bob Dylan saw it (and I guess it's possible that he has) his jaw would drop to his bellybutton and he would call his agent and say, 'Why haven't you gotten this singer, Sinead Lohan, to support me on tour?" Of course, he is now so old that he probably isn't going on tour any more. Just selling his books, stamped (not personally signed) with his autograph, for $600 a pop, the greedy scoundrel. I mean, how much more money does he need now that he's in his eighties? He will never spend his billions in his remaining lifetime. Why not just give the books away to whomever wants one? Congrats, Sinead, an extraordinarily brilliant rendition of one of Dylan's more difficult to sing compositions.

I can't understand why so-called folkheroes like Springsteen, Dylan live like kings in palaces. How can you have faith in their ethical messages and lyrics and their jolly working class attitude and ideas? I LOVE their music, but I simply can't understand their greed.

Yes, it is absurd, and makes us question their integrity. I thought Dylan was almost God-like... until I grew up! @@keesschoone6672
I think this version is better than Joan Baez
Bonita voz.
❤️🔥
Best ever rendition of Ramona, I guess Bob Dylan should be thanking her with a big cheque, as he never managed to sing it in a seriously good way.

Mostly I agree, but try Dylan's version at the 1969 Isle of Wight.

@@peaceandleisure3105 No, come on, please, he's not even singing the song as he originally wrote it. All I can say on the positive side is that he's making an effort to sound good, or at least interesting, which is more than can be said for his efforts over the last 30 or maybe even 40 years.

@@greatspottedwoodpeck I don't think Dylan would ever consider himself as being a "good" singer..composer yes...This is the best version by far..
Is she still alive? It's like she just dropped off the face of the earth.
