An honor to have you comment on my video. I was born in 1995 so I wasn't around to witness all these key moments USA 1 did, but I'm glad to have seen all the shows and see what the truck did in those days. Hope all is well with you Rod.

I'm not shure if you will ever get a chance to read this, but I would like to personally Thank you, Rod, for putting on some truly amazing shows for all of us back then! You and Bigfoot were my absolute favorites from day one! I would always get all worked up when you two would hate to race head to head! Haha! My first real hobby-grade radio-controlled truck was the Kyosho USA-1 which I still have to this day, Kyosho actually just came out with a brand new version of it again this year, she is still one of the greatest-looking Monster Trucks if you ask me, the new one is pretty badass to be honest. Sorry for rambling on, I just wanted you to know how much you were appreciated and the great memories you created for all of us, and myself as a fan who gratefully was able to have witnessed all of this back then, and even still today. My 9-year-old son loves watching all these old races on KZread here. Take care bud. Thank you again for everything. 😎🫡🤘💯

It's such a shame that USA-1 never completed their new truck. Considering how fast #2 was, I can only imagine how much faster #3 would be.

Army is the man he was literally on the scene faster than the medical people in that crash.

I love these. Can you just upload the entire episodes (commercials and all)? Sitting here with a beer or two, building a Clodbuster (80's RC monster truck) with this playing the background. I love it.

That would be pretty bad ass too be able to watch all the old-school commercials too! (Especially when you're sitting there building an old school Clodbuster R/C) As much as I can't stand commercials today, those would be kick ass to see though! I will be watching now to see if this is something that could possibly happen… I think if it does I'm going to order up a new Super Clodbuster R/C kit to build myself!😂 Sorry for rambling On, but did you see that Kyosho just released a new version of USA-1 R/C truck with an electric Brushless version and a Nitro Methane gas engine version als well. They are big and bad ass! I just ordered the brushless one, and it should actually be here this coming week! 👍

15:41 - Ayyyyy! They finally bought a Minnesota map and realized that the USA-1 hometown is Spring Lake Park, MN! That drove me nuts during the whole 1988 video with how they kept messing it up.

Awesome video! First I’ve heard of the rollover in Atlanta. At Toronto, Army mentioned that if he’d rolled that would’ve been the 5th time. So Louisville in 88 and the Omni early in 89, what were the other 2?

The official rollover count is this. 1. Freedom Hall, October 7 1988 2. Omni in Atlanta, January 20 1989 3. Buffalo, NY, July 14 1989 4. Kalamazoo, MI August 24 1989 5. Flint, MI September 22, 1989 6. Roanoke, VA February 27, 1990 7. Richmond, VA June 16, 1990 8. Stafford Springs, CT, August 3, 1990 There was a rumor about a crash that happened in Uniondale 1990, but from digging around, USA 1 wasn't at Uniondale that year.

@@DaltonHastings1 thanks! That was all I could come up with as well, but wondered if they rolled more at exhibitions or something. Keep up the awesome work!
