Gettin close to my old stompin grounds. River looks high. At times in places you can walk across it and other times it floods terrible. Midlands nice to visit. The gardens, museum and event center. Lotsa good memories there.

Interestingly enough, while I have driven PAST Midland many, many times, I don't recall ever going into town until recently. But then, there are so many places that I still haven't been to. There doesn't seem, at least at present, like there is any shortage of places to visit and video.

so I see it's not a new thing for things that are named after politicians to be re-named - although Tiffin river would have been much easier to pronounce :)

True, Tiffin would have been a lot easier to say, and spell for that matter. But people can, and always have, gotten their knickers in a knot over the most trivial and mundane of things.

Yeah, that happened quite a while after we made this episode, and was a real disaster.

It looks beautiful. Is It cold?

I'm not entirely certain if you mean the weather in general or the water. The weather has been very pleasant. cool enough to justify the light jacket, but certainly very mild. As for the water, I have no idea what the water temperature is, but nobody sane goes in the water in Michigan in October. LOL!
