Good video Jesse, a few things I want to talk about in this video. No timestamp for this one, but the "cargo hold" you were in was just first class baggage, nothing but steamer trunks and luggage. The car was in another hold, I believe it was the one directly in front of the lower level of first class baggage and the mail hold. 7:21 These are impressive but, fun fact, you were fooled. These are not 3D modeled, they're parallax like the ceiling. A magical illusion. Not sure if you'd want to but you can turn it off by turning the effects all the way down in the settings. 12:51 someone most likely told you before I did, but I'm surprised you didn't know what that was, it is the telephone switchboard. 19:19 Unfortunately you have stated an incorrect fact, this was NOT Ismay's suite, his was on the other side, this one was the Cardeza's suite. 20:07 Speaking of opening promenade doors, the only place you missed was the other side's promenade, you can open it the same as here 28:23 Absolutely stunning indeed but would it blow your mind if I said that's not all details yet? It's all repeating carvings, lRL it has all unique carvings

Thank you for clarifying these details! When I was cutting this video together, I did start to think that the panel at 7:21 may have been parallax. But it's pretty darn convincing as a 3D shape when in reality it's not!

13:00 it's a telephone connector so basically a person calls and you connect that line to the line that the person wants

No words, just take a second to realize the time, the detail, everything put into this. Just realize. Whoever made this is absolutely stunning! This is amazing. Just wow. Some facts - The bostwick gate you saw on E-deck was for separating first class from second. The corridor beyond the gate was a 1st/2nd class alternative cabin allocation, and was allocated to whichever class was in most demand for the voyage. So if it was 2nd class, the corridor would be barriered off to prevent 2nd class from entering the squash court. The private promenade you were on was occupied by Mrs. Charlotte Cardeza. Ismay had the one on the port side.

I think the reason why the R&W room wasn't so popular is because of the small door that blends in with the wall so passengers probably didn't notice it on both Olympic and Titanic? I think it would be better if it had the same double glass door like the lounge.

I tried it out but It transformed by computer into all the space shuttle main engines running at full power. This just says that my computer is weak.

The two identical rooms right in front of the Turkish bath were called shampooing although I don't really there use.

I cant wait i am still excited

At 1256 its a telephone switchboard...there would be wires that could connect the incoming call to the intended party.

The wall box you saw near the pool area I believe you're right that it is for stewards, but not for the rooms. That one would be connected to the call buttons in the Turkish Baths and Pool area. Each of the corridors has at least one for the cabins or public rooms with call buttons in that area

12:56 Those are called switchborads (I cant spell and i might not be completely correct but) These were used to connect calls on board the ship And yes there were phones on board the ship but it was not known on where they were placed onboard the ship There you be the small gaps on the wall and desk and to connect a call you pass/connect a few wires to place said call So for example you want to call the doctor onboard it would be first placed on the switchbord operators phone first You would call the operator first and you state your reasion to call as the operator to hold the line while they switch your call to (said doctor) I think that the pursors office had a phone as well as a few other crew areas and maybe a few passenger areas but probably maybe

If angels up in heaven are allowed to vouch for new souls, I bet all the people who were on the Titanic would definitely vouch for the guys at THG, Tom and Emma Lynskey included even though they aren't part of the THG crew anymore.

What's surprising of this is that despite the ship looking and feeling enclosed, with no two-story rooms apart from the staircases and the regular small cabins, it does not look cramped or claustrophobic in nature. impressive design, though a bit odd with the nature of what is seen today in modern ships

12:57 I think that is to call different rooms. I think you would plug the phone into the outlet that goes to the room you want to call. I think I’ve seen this in a movie

Correct. It’s a telephone switchboard. Different parts of the ship could call each other and the operator sitting here could connect their call. There was no calling to shore however. Telegraphs would be used for that.

how large is the 401 demo?

The D-deck electrolier that was central on the grand staircase was also ejected out into the debris field - maybe the much loathed V-break has some truth to it.
