Jax smiled at Vera. "Back at this game again? How sad. I thought we were over this already," he said, grinning. Vera walked closer, her face darkened in the shadows. "As long as criminals like you exist in this world, I can never rest," she said. Her face softened slightly. "......but it doesn't have to be this way." Jax's stance faltered. He looked at her with hope in his eyes. "Do you mean....I can...become....a hero, like...you?" Vera smiled kindly. "Of course! Take my hand, and leave this life that you don't want," she replied, holding her hand out while her eyes shimmered. He took it hesitantly, then hugged her, tears streaming down his face. "Can I tell you a story?" he asked after a while of silence. Vera nodded. "Do....do you know the story of the Frog And The Scorpion?" he asked quietly. Vera frowned. "Huh? What's that?" Jax cleared his throat. "One day, a frog was about to cross a river with a strong current. A scorpion, wanting to cross the river too, asked the frog if he could ride on his back, since he couldn't swim." Vera tilted her head. "And then?" "The frog disagreed. 'No! You'd just sting me, and I'd die!' The scorpion shook his head. 'Of course not. That would be idiotic, because I would drown too.' The frog realized there was no fault in his logic, so he allowed the scorpion to ride on his back." Jax exhaled. "Halfway down the river, the Scorpion leaned in and stung the Frog. The Frog, surprised, yelled, 'WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT, YOU FOOL?! NOW WE SHALL BOTH DIE!' Do you want to know what the Scorpion said?" "What?" Vera asked. love how the songs selected are in order of a story; the first is about pretending and bottling up emotions, then second about trying something bad for the first time,( how the song sounded discreet about committing a crime) then you have a song about your ego going up and not feeling remorse, and then lastly it's just about losing your mind and enjoying the crimes you have committed. Good work!

I personally side with villains. Most of the time it's the 'hero's' fault anyway. In my eyes most 'hero's' are the real villains. But its the winner tells the tale. That's why hero's always win. They twist the tale to make the villains in the wrong. Why else do you never hear about bad things hero's did afterall? (Please ignore my terrible spelling and grammar. I'm typing this at midnight while half asleep. Great playlist btw)

It depends on if the villain has done something so unforgivable though. I see this argument a lot with DC's joker, yet people willingly forget that the joker has kidnapped and murdered children for fun. I think a lot of the time when people side with villains, they're unknowingly siding with Anti-Hero's who were never meant to be seen as bad or good. I'm sorry I went on a rant, I just see so many people siding with actual villains under the guise they are just victims.

Short story based off my roleplay because this fits the vibe. No I don’t own one of the characters lol, I just roleplay as him. Zeref sighs, looking towards the ceiling. “You know what? I’m tired. I’m tired of trying to prove myself, to show I’m not a bad person, a killer, whatever the hell you all call me.” He looks ahead again. “I’ve tried so hard to show you all that I’m not the person you heard about in the stories, but you just can’t seem to understand that.” Standing in front of Zeref, Draven locks eyes with him. “That’s a lie and you know it, deep down you know you’ve always been just what they said, and you always will be.” His eyes grow teary, and he chokes out a laugh. “Fine. You want me to be the villain so badly? I’ll be the villain.” Zeref disappears, and Draven looks around, trying to locate him. Zeref suddenly reappears behind him, plunging a dagger into his back. “You backstabbed me, now I’ve returned the favour.” He says simply before walking away from Draven, bleeding on the ground.

Answer me!” Jay turned away, refusing to meet his pain-staking eyes. “And why are you still in denial?” Jay replied, finally facing him. “I know you would have a reason. I have to believe you have a reason!” “Hah..What? So you can sleep at night? Because you don’t want to believe your best friend’s the villain of this fucking story? Give me a break.” Ace let go of his shoulders. His expression pale, his usual bright blue eyes now faded. He fixed his eyes back on Jay. I heard fundys voice and being the dsmp fan I am I let out an audible squeak and my parents had to run upstairs to my room to make sure I was ok 🥲

POV cuz idk “W-why are you doing this, Penelope?” The ‘hero’ stumbled back, wincing. The wound seemed to be hurting her a lot, blood soaking through her clothes. She continued putting the sword in front of her, threatening me, as if it would protect her or anything. She didn’t seem to have given up- just not yet- but I guess that’s my job, to make fools like her give up. “Because,” I said, staring dead into her eyes, “I like the pleasure of it.” The hero’s sword was still up, her arms shaking terribly. I walked towards her, while she slowly backed up, not daring to take her eyes off me. “You- You’re a terrible person- killing so many people- how could you do this?” The hero’s voice quivered. She was clearly going to die no matter what- why even bother trying? I sighed, shaking my head, chuckling at how stupid and naïve these people, who call themselves heroes, are. “Don’t pretend you’re not a murder. You lot murdered my entire family. You-” I flicked her sword away (Pretty stupid for a hero, not knowing that I have telekinesis), making her alarmed, “murdered my sister. Our sister.” I cornered the hero into a dark alley. She tripped over something, making her fall. I walked to where she was, and she, being her stupid hero self, held her sword in front of her, thinking that she could do anything. “You used to be such a loving person…” The hero whispered, her fear finally showing. “And I,” I snarled, “never would’ve thought that you would kill our sister.” I kicked away whatever was on the ground that was blocking my way. “Please,” The hero’s voice was barely a whisper. “Please, your sister killed innocents and innocents.” “Our sister.” I corrected her. “She did it for a reason.” “Amanda…” The so-called hero’s voice was drowned by her tears. She was sobbing. “Don’t,” I hissed, disgusted by the fact that she was still using my name, “call me that.” “I’m so sorry… I’m so, so, sorry…” The pathetic hero that was once my sister (which I’m ashamed to admit) was begging for my mercy. The satisfaction of seeing her suffer from her last moments before death, just like what she did with Allison, my dead sister, that I loved… I stopped for a few seconds. Then I laughed. I laughed and laughed and laughed. “Sorry? Sorry? She’s dead, Hazel. Allison’s dead. You killed her. You think that a sorry can make it up?" “You’re mad… You’ve gone mad like your sister did…” Tears filled her eyes, now looking at me. Her eyes were full of sadness, whilst mine were filled with rage and hatred. “Mad… Yeah, I’m mad, guess who made me like this? You.” I stared at her, so weak and helpless on the ground. I kicked her just to make her flinch. “Revenge- that’s what you villains want, isn’t it? Kill me, then. Go on. Do it.” Hazel sniffed, finally giving in. It was about time. “Ha. You may call it revenge, but I call it returning the favor, darling.” I said quietly, smiling. “I love you, Penelope. I really do.” Hazel closed her eyes. “Burn in hell,” I whispered, leaning towards her. I raised my blade, my hands shaking. Then I did it. I stabbed her. I killed her. As i plunged it into his heart, I whispered, “And angels were made to fall.” I could hear the gasp of betrayal escape his lips. I ripped the knife from his body. Dripping in the blood of a man I once loved, and it was oh-so satisfying. I couldn’t wait for the rest of the team to see my new look. It was a new dawn. It was a new era. It was a new day. She was in fact a beautiful girl, but happiness and love wasn't in her life. The moment she saw how the kingdom treated her mother after her father's death, she promised that they would get revenge. That line, specifically, was from one of the dream smp lore streams - I cannot remember which one, but I don't think it would be too hard to find. Solo Fundy lore is rare, and because of that, there aren't many recent ones - that line was said a while ago, but before an even more gut wrenching part with Phil, if you're caught up, I think you know which scene I'm talking about

Damn, Fundy's voice lines hit so hard with that happy-go-lucky music. Made me feel like I was standing backstage after some tragic fallout or something while doing a play and going off-script, and pretending to be perfectly fine and happy. Like your _supposed to be._

“Tommy.” Wilbur whispered. “What?” Tommy asked. Wilbur locked eyes with him, trying to convey all the things he couldn’t put into words through his expression alone. Tommy stared at him intently, solemnly. “What is it?” He asked again, quieter this time. He dreaded the answer. Wilbur smiled something pained and sorrowful. “I can’t do this anymore, Tommy. I can’t be the good guy.” He said softly, a confession. Tommy furrowed his brows in confusion, holding back his fear of what that meant. “What do you mean?” He asked. Wilbur looked down for a moment, seemingly gathering his thoughts together and sorting them out before looking back up to meet Tommy’s anxious gaze. “I think, Tommy, it’s not as simple as good guys and bad guys, it’s not all black and white. Everyone’s morally gray, falling on slightly different areas of the spectrum. We’re all more alike than we think, really. But the difference is that good guys are held to a higher standard, meant to have responsibilities and requirements. They have the glorification from the public, the encouragement from all their loyal citizens. They have reputations to uphold, and they’ll do anything to keep their names on gold pedestals. And bad guys, they don’t get any support or encouragement from the people, they don’t have fans. In fact, everyone hates the bad guys, don’t they Tommy? Isn’t that what we’re told to do?” Wilbur paused his explanation in favor of prompting Tommy to answer his question. Tommy was at a loss for words, his mind stuck in the depths of what Wilbur was saying. He was behind a few steps, struggling to catch up. Wilbur seemed undeterred by Tommy’s lack of response. “Aren’t we told to hate the villains, Tommy?” He asked again. Tommy broke out of his thoughts, hearing Wilbur’s question clearly for the first time. “Yes.” He replied. Wilbur nodded, satisfied. “Yes, we are. And we’re told to love the heroes, to praise them, to cheer for them to win. And would we do that if we weren’t told to? What would we believe if we weren’t being influenced? There are no good guys and bad guys, Tommy. We’re all the same. It’s simply one force against the other, and society has put labels on them to tell them apart. Then, what’s the difference? Hm? She hopped up the last stair, stomping her feet to the faint song playing on the speakers, mouthing the lyrics as she gripped onto the shorty. She sauntered her way down the small corridor, her suit flowing behind her. "Give up," She pumped the shotgun. "Why are you doing all of this, Kenna?" The man glanced down the hall, seeing a figure making its way to him. He ducked back, readying the stock of his rifle. She hummed, swinging the gun around her hands, grinning dangerously. "Let me tell you a story.." The man halted behind the wall, sweat dripping down his chin. He said nothing in response. Carefully, he followed the thumping of boots against the tiles. "One day, a fox comes across an eagle," The thud of the boots grew closer. "The fox befriended the eagle, who had a group of young." She came closer to the wall, taking a deep breath and continuing with an exaggerated tone like she were talking to a child. "But then one day, the fox's cubs went missing. She looked everywhere, then came to the eagle for help!" She now lowered her eyes. "You know what the fox found?" The man gulped, "What?" He had stuttered, feeling uneasy and afraid. The thump of the boots had stopped short of him, she was close. "The eagle," She said in a soft and an exaggerated sorrow-filled voice. "The fox's dear friend, had taken her cubs," Now a smile formed. "And fed them to her babies instead. The fox watched in utter horror as she saw her children being devoured.." The voice trailed off. "What.. does that have to do with anything..?" The man breathed shakily. There was no answer, no footsteps, complete utter silence besides the song shifting. *"Bird's flying high.."* Echoed in the distance. The man slowly stepped out from the wall, raising his rifle as if it were loaded. Where his attacker should have been, laid a pair of steel-toe boots. Panicked, the man quickly glanced around- then his nose was met with an awfully hard stock of a gun. He fell back, his rifle skidding away from him. "I'm tired of being the fox," She advanced, placing her foot down on his shoulder. She aimed the barrel down at his face. "I want to see the world burn." She smiled, "I'm going to start the fire and watch everything burn.." A loud shot rang out in the store, echoing. The man fell limp.

He just responded with a simple “why when I just removed another criminal from the picture?” He just see the teifling get flashed with anger as he just went on the typical monologue about how you can’t kill criminals and let them serve their time as he got used to and annoyed about every time he burns a syndicate crack house and with a ever slight anger he just said “you know this is why their is so much corruption if you think that just a simple capture and send to prison would work your an absolute fucking idiot” and before he respond with yet another half minded dim witted cliche hero’s quotes you cut him off “ let me talk for a second is just basic knowledge because if you just let them live then it won’t help cause they know how to do the business of drugs and power so they can just gets lowered sentences while their industry can just get a more violent person to run it” as anger rises from him as they try to tell dear old jack about what’s a good thing and a bad thing so jack just snapped and from behind his yellow tinted cracked google “this is why the hero symptom is a problem!!!!!!!, your all just so used to being in public looking good as you all fight some mass war criminals you forgot to hear why other criminals do it like feeding a sick child or to fuel an addiction that higher organized crime sells to them saying how it can fix everything so I’m trying in my own way to help them the common people who just work their happy lives before drugs come into the mix and honestly sure I’ll admit that I’m too late as I see a mafia leader in the government as everyone is abused and work like how durability an axe has over the years without taking care of it so I did what I have to” and now stonfell with his blade responds with “ well your slowly becoming like them” Jack “how? Is it going to be an monologue about if I murder them with my own weapons that shoot lightning that I’m just as bad as them?
