Recently my father radiation completed after oral surgery, after 4 days of radiation i can see increasing of ulcers in mouth so do i need to meet doctor again or is this a common side effect. If it is a common side effects then how much time will it take to recover.

Respected Madam, i was recently diagnosed to have "leukoplakia vocal cords" with advice for biopsy. I am 49 and have a history of smokeless tobacco consumption in the past. There is no difficulty in swallowing, no pain, no irritation, no lump, no lymph node enlargement, no fever.. i am eating, drinking and swallowing everything normally.. the only problem and reason for which i visited an ENT specialist was because i have hoarseness of voice since last three weeks, and it too gets better after 2/3 days of voice rest.. after talking to someone for sometime i use to feel fatigue in my throat, but it goes away after rest.. what do i do for this madam.. is it such that "leukoplakia vocal cords" always have the potential to turn into invasive cancer ? And if i do the biopsy test, will my problem get intensified by the wound caused due to biopsy ? I am very much depressed and scared, there is no family history of cancer.. the present diagnosis is "leukoplakia vocal cords".. kindly advice madam..

मेम मैने जनवरी में मुंह के कैंसर का ऑपरेशन करवाया था अभी ठीक तो है या नहीं मुझे समझ नहीं आ रहा मगर मुझे ना ही ऑपरेशन से पहले और ना ही बाद में कभी वेट लॉस की समस्या नहीं हुई है मुझे भूख भी लगती मगर में खाने में क्या खाऊं ये नही जानता जो भी मिलता है वह खा लेता हूं
