Throughout the summer while I was sitting on standby with work for five months, I took my daughter for 90 minute walks and ran around the park. Nearly every day. It was great. If you sit around feeling sorry for yourself, nothing will change.

Juggling. I started juggling at 55. Ten years later, now 65, I've juggled every day since... maybe a day here and there without, but average about 10 minutes a day. My balance, peripheral vision, hand to eye coordination and spatial awareness seem to improve daily. Juggling is the tool that helped achieve that, as well as the way to measure the improvement by seeing a new skill or improvement EVERY day for 10 years. There's white papers on the topic online.

I’d really like to see advice for people like my mom and I who cannot do physical exercise. She has a degenerative spine disease that she has had to put off treatment for over a year and I have a condition that too much activity raises the fluid pressure in my skull and causes seizures, and puts me at risk for a stoke or aneurism at the same time because the ventricles is my brain are 97% closed. So neither of us is allowed to do exercise by our doctors. Neither of us has even been able to get physical therapy approved (especially thanks to covid because of our other autoimmune illnesses that make us immune compromised). We don’t have a way to go out to walk due to where we live, plus our conditions that could leave us stranded and unable to get back home if an episode is triggered. But it seems like all of these things always say that physical exercise is the only way. I really wish they would give advice for people like us who are homebound and partially bedbound. We seem to always get ignored, despite there being many like us.

Did you know that we wash our brains four times a day if we are healthy? The cilia in the 3rd ventricle of the brain keeps the cerebrospinal fluids moving. Or at least they used to do that. Today, that is true for almost no one anywhere on earth. Sure we get a partial rinse. Do you want your dishes to be partially rinsed? Our cilia rely on voltage to work together to help move the fluid. Negative ions, which are provided by nature, stimulate that movement. But electronic equipment including Smart Meters, office equipment, etc produce positive ions. BTW, I'm an author and inventor. I give away my invention know how for free because we need to fix every brain (of all ages) and fix them now. Fortunately, we can do that at the speed of light.

As well as damaged lungs, and many long haulers are dealing with brain fog, something similar to chronic fatigue syndrome, and more horrible issues. I read a article recently about a man in his 20s who was previously extremely active, biking to work each day, doing marathons and such, and now needs his girlfriend to help take care of him because even though he didn’t need to be hospitalized, Covid absolutely destroyed his life and body.

Rescue a dog! Find new adventures/places to take them. Or better yet, buy a harness and leash for your cat and get outside! I have discovered a whole new world this way. My kitty now begs to go for a walk more often then he asks to be fed. It's a commitment, but one worth doing. When you look at their beautiful faces lit up and the sparkle in their eyes you will find your reward. Your eyes and brain will sparkle too.

Imo she missed the point of "movement". Gupta is saying exercise is not what he's talking about, not moving your body in a static setting, such as yoga. Walking if moving your brain through different environments, walking on different surfaces, exercises your brain. Yoga is about doing the same thing over and over and your brain isn't exercised. I've many people try to exercise their brains by doing puzzles, playing chess, doing things they think are "smart". But most of our brain is used to do things we take for granted. Computers can be programmed to solve puzzles and play chess. Those things aren't very complex. Going for a walk however is extremely difficult for a computer because it's almost infinitely complex.
