    Thank you very much Dombony, the clip is very helpful. You made mention of based on your qualifications, you will be directed on the documents to upload, I don't think I came across such guide, I just uploaded the ones I thought are necessary. Where's the guide stated for BSC certificate plz, I need to know

  • @dombonyglobal

    Hi Rejoice, thanks for watching. For the documents like I said, there are no ones specifically to upload. Based on what you listed or stated you have like qualifications, experience etc. You may want to upload a supporting document to that effect. Since you already did that, I guess you are on the right track. Success in your application.

    I would just say to some people in the comments the stp isn't the only route to becoming a clinical scientist. You can look at jobs that offer 'route 2'. It's longer than the 3 years usually, typically around 5 years.

    Thank you very much for the video. God bless you. I will like to ask, Do you by chance know any Nigerian who has gotten into this program? Because there are indications that they hardly select international applicants. just saying. Thank you once again

  • @dombonyglobal

    @dombonyglobal

    Thanks so much for watching Dotun. Well, that’s a good question. I don’t know any Nigerian that has been selected but that doesn’t mean they do not select or have not selected a Nigerian. Usually, there is a selection criteria which includes diversity and they have to show proofs for that. So Dotun, let your application appear strong and outstanding ok. Also pray because I believe in prayers.

    Respected sir/Mam, I am an international medical graduate MBBS, from India . I would like to become a biomedical scientist in the NHS . But I have a doubt regarding entry to SCIENTIST TRAINING PROGRAM . Is my MBBS degree from India approved to apply for the STP PROGRAM or should I do BSc(hons) biomedical science from the UK university? Please sir/Mam , help me achieve my goal by clarifying my doubt . I would be grateful if you could assist me. Thank you .

    Hello I have a question. I am an international applicant, my uni doesn’t offer Bsc (Horns) so my Bsc degree is just BSc without honors. Will I be disqualified from the STP if my degree is not HONS degree. Another question, I am not familiar with the grading system. On NHS website it says the degree has to be 2:1. What does that mean?

  • @kingdom_ft

    Hi. From my knowledge, you should be okay to apply having a BSc without honours. Like he said in the vid, I think it’s more about experience and how you sell yourself. 2:1 is the minimum degree grade allowed to apply for the STP. The grades go as follows: 1:1 class, 2:1, 2:2, 3rd class. You can apply with a 1:1 or 2:1 minimum, anything below is not normally allowed to my knowledge. Although I think on the NHS website they do mention that people with a 2:2 degree grade may also apply if the have relevant enough experience but I’m not 100% sure with that. Hope that helps.
