    No, RCCP is just a registration body. Exams are conducted by the exam councils like BSE or EACVI for echocardiography, and IBHRE for Cardiac Rhythm, These are just examples for the 2 cardiac sub-specialties. For other departments like Respiratory Physiology etc, they have their exam councils as well.

    Thanks for always watching. Sam replied: I think what's best for him will be to continue in his academic pathway and look up applying to graduate schools in UK as a research assistant. But if he wants to go back into clinicals, I think he should either consider the STP pathway as it is both academic and clinical and he will stand a better chance with his PhD and years of academic experience, otherwise, he will need to amass clinical skills in Neurophysiology and neurodiagnostics, put in an application to register with RCCP as a Neurophysiologist and start applying for jobs. Fingers crossed he gets something

  • @dombonyglobal

    @dombonyglobal

    2 жыл бұрын

    Sam replied: Mostly, the first step is to do an MSc in your specialty preference. If his plan is to lecture in UK or abroad, the easiest step is to get a graduate assistant position or a research position in a university There are not much fully funded scholarships in UK but there are a good number of part scholarships targeted at research. So, if he has enough money to meet up the remaining fee, I think he can easily find part scholarships. For the graduate assistant positions, I know there are a good number not just in UK but in Canada as well. Only thing is that one will have to directly get in contact with a professor in that specialty most likely through an email and present himself such that he is able to show his zeal for research in that same specialty. If the professor has a vacancy for a graduate assistant at the time, then he will most likely be accepted.

  • @dombonyglobal

    Hi Omoyajowo, Your girlfriend can come join you through a couple of ways A. If you guys are legally married, you can apply for a spouse visa for her since you are already on the Uk. B. She can also come to the Uk on her own through masters program which is what she is planning to. MSc does not need you to have NYSC cert and does not need you to have clinical experience (at least most of the uni). So she can apply for masters and come over.
