Tips for Nurses Working in the Neuro ICU
My name is Kati Kleber, MSN RN, and I worked in a neurocritical care unit for 4.5 years. I was a charge nurse, preceptor, and have my CCRN. I recorded this short video to give those of you floating to neuro or new to the area some practical tips.

Nothing to worry just GO through GCS and pupillary response ✌️✌️
Wow, wow, wow! Thank you soooooo much for sharing this. I just received a job offer as a Grad Nurse in ICU Nuero and I am beyond excited as it is my dream field. I am super nervous as the training is intense and will be 12 weeks 100000% hands-on-deck. This is a great layout of what I should prepare for as well as touch up on and study more before I begin next month. Keep sharing!

Could you do a video on a full neuro assessment?

if you have any hospice/palliative experience bring it up! I had the opportunity to talk about my experience volunteering and shadowing a hospice nurse and they seemed interested in that, because sometimes patients do die and they like palliative experience
Hi, I have a critical care background in cardiology. I am interested in an NP position in neuro ICU. what would you provide me tips with interviewing? Thank you.
