Does your team do a good job of keeping your playgroups safe and fun? How do you build the best playgroups? Can your team easily determine what dogs should play together? Do you base your playgroups on more than just size? How do you know the key components of a great playgroup? Do you know the difference between groups set up for full day daycare versus enrichment?
Dog daycare was created as a service for social dogs to be able to play together. A trend we’ve noted over time is that fewer dogs in playgroups actually play and enjoy their day. My place is 1:25😅 we will put 50 in same place with 2 people
How do you create rosters/notation as to which dog gets put in which group? Our rosters print off all of our large groups on the same page regardless of if they are calm or active. How do your playtime associates know which dogs they should be taking out (other than knowing the dogs like for ex new dogs that are boarding)

Hi April, Once a dog has gone through an assessment and has started attending you will know the best group for that dog and it can be annotated in the dog's record. Also, usually a shift supervisor or lead will sort the dogs into groups the day before daycare.

@@TheDogGurus Thanks for the quick response! Do you annotate anything on the boarding dog's run cards about their compatibility? And does your resort allow "quick check ins" or are the reservation only so that you can make those lists in advance without any unexpected guests?
