I decided to give you guys some tips for handstands. As a gymnast we do handstands all the time and it was always something I had to improve and still have to improve. Hope you enjoy this video and give it a thumbs up if you did!

Front lever. More than the basic progressions would be nice to see some supplementary exercises to help get it and go on harder variations. The same goes for any other exercise. Also warmup/stretching before/after any kind of movement would be good to include.

Awesome hs lesson. I like the way you pack a lot of info, including why to do it that way, into a small amount of time. I'd like to know more about the conditioning progression and skill progression for that forward somersaulty thing on the rings(I don't know the name of it,sorry) and also the iron man, rings hs and rings planche/Maltese. I don't know how you have time for all the stuff you do! Maybe a time management video too? Idk...Thanks Jake!

Jake ! I am interested to learn about pelican curls or the progress for different pelican stages. What are they useful for ? Was pelican exercises important for your gymnastics ring strength ? I've been using it as the main supplementing bicep isolation exc. to get stronger biceps for one arm pull up. It be great to learn more about the use of pelican gymnastic moves!

I have a solid handstand on the floor, but when you do it on the PVC pipes in preparation for parallel bars (I assume that's what that is for) I tip over forward and get tired of the wind being knocked out of me after like the 4th time. That's the main thing that prevents me from trying parallel bar handstands is the fear of tipping over forward and not knowing how to properly fall out. One of the coaches at my adult gymnastics class is kinda dismissive of this and is like "well you should have a better handstand so you don't tip over forward". I would like to know how to properly bail. Also, I got my standing back handspring and standing back tuck down. I can't chain into tumbling yet and am afraid of that. I don't have a lot of gymnastics background--i swam competitively in college and did water polo but have pretty much just become a strength training guy (and I can do one arm pullup negatives and weighted pullups with +110). So strength isn't something I really need help with. Id love if you could do technique stuff. Other ideas: I cant completely press to full handstand. I have to tap up. Twisting flight skills. I have rolled my ankle on the landing...or just how to know where you are in the air...never been taught basic bailing or aerial awareness. Human flag--ive done this once but can't remember how I did it. I think it is basically a one arm handstand. Planche progression. I have the strength (I can do 105 dumbbell bench press 4-5x and weigh 178 @ 5'10"). Just not understanding which muscles to activate intensely for this. Jealous of the water park. Btw I'm a business owner too, didn't know you did that! Yes...always stuff to do.

Try the HS against the wall so you don't tip over! for me when I bail I do a half pirouette or you can forward roll but on grass thats not super comfortable. These are all on the list!
