So even though you could rub the existing abletive paint off with your fingers, you can still paint over the top of that?

Good stuff. I've got big flakes of my Interlux ablative coming off the bottom of my Doughdish. Does the JD paint require any kind of base coating to make it adhere?

Seems like an OK person but I think the title is a bit misrepped. The only "tips and tricks" are the "paint very bottom first" and the holes in lip of can but as an accomplished bottom painter there's really nothing here for me. I am thinking it's for some first timer and shows no prep at all.It does not explain types of paint and why. Waste of time if looking for advanced "tips & tricks" should be more complex.
