Two questions Q1 Can you set an intrusion zone and have the camera turn from IR to white light only when a car / person enters the set zone or will it go to white light whenever the car / person is anywhere within the cameras field of view? Q2 What is the difference in night time quality between the 5MP and 8MP

Hi Richard, A1) At this time the Smart Illumination from IR to White Light will be triggered from a person entering the feild of view. Modifcations will be made to this overtime. A2) TiOC 2.0 5MP and 8MP will have the same quality due to the new OPC at night :-) The advantages of the 8MP will be during daylight in terms of the pixel resolution.

@@DahuaUKIreland Thanks for the feedback How does the Dahua full colour 2.0 compare to the TIOC 2.0 in low light night time? Specifically, which would be the clearer image? If active deterrence was not required how do the two options compare?

If the colour toic camera was trip in colour mode and the alarm output triggger on the camera...and additional ir lighting would be wired to be enable would the tioc colour image... return to black because of extra ir light creating black white image... or would the color camera quality improve or would the colour image begraded cus to much ir light
