    Thank you for the information. I'm utilizing the new DIY QuinLED boards and Quindore ESP32, particularly when operating the board with high current. They are highly efficient, and I have encountered no issues whatsoever. I have confidence in your advice, yet I am satisfied with my current setup. :)

    I was really satisfied with them. They stil work OK - but I have combo of 8266 and 32 boards. Those with 8266 don't work with latest 14.1 FW. And TBH replacing them with these is a bit more expensive than just buying ESP32. But I get functionality that I don't have now (SR). If it works for you, that's the best option you can have ;)

    I completely understand your point. I have tried many boards before, and if you need a setup with more power, the QuinLED is the best choice. For a smaller setup, this board will be sufficient.@@BeardedTinker

    @@sevagjb How is the power related to the controller? You can do as much power as you want into the screw terminal along with the LEDs and use it. I have 25 meters of Ws2812B addressable LED strip connected to such a controller (25 meters is the perimeter of a room with sides of 5x7 meters.

    Of course, you can run the power separately, but having one board for both is more efficient.@@webdev6712

    I'm in love with diy wemos-d1 or esp32 so I don't think I'll buy one but the project is interesting and the price is really competitive. the opportunity to power it up to 24v is a great plus!

    @@BeardedTinker bought only for use it w/ zha in ZigBee to eth. Really It's in test atm only 2 devices connected from Ikea (air pm2 sensor) and mijia (ac socket). Plan is replace 3 mijia gateway (1 in every floor atm) and extend compatibility brand but how will it work with +35 slave connected?

    @@BeardedTinker at the moment I'm just testing it, with zha, with 2 devices of different brands: a Xiaomi smart plug and an Ikea pm2 sensor. it works and has great range (using it in ZigBee to lan mode). I like that it is opto-isolated between USB and LAN so I can power it from USB where I don't have poe. I will then see if it will allow me to connect all the devices I currently use, around fifty, eliminating the 3 current Xiaomi gateways

    What is the maximum number of pixels on a single output?

  • @BeardedTinker

    @BeardedTinker

    Ай бұрын

    Not easy answer as it depends on multiple factors, but limit for controlling LEDs is really high. You'll have to worry about power before you hit that limit. And you can go around power issue with power injection in the LED strip. There is a documentation page you can check for this.

    @@BeardedTinker I currently have an installation with WS2812B LEDs, 60 LEDs per meter, with a total length of 1614 pixels, but my current SP108E controller has poor lighting effects. Hence, my question is whether this controller can handle such a large number of pixels in a single strip.

    @@BeardedTinker@BeardedTinker size, price, absence of Type-C connector in Gledopto, which is, you should agree, very convenient - just plug and place without any wires and connectors. This one is an extremely tiny one, and what is surprises me here - an extremely sensitive microphone.
