it never ceases to amaze me how well dogs can adjust their level of "play" intensity based on the size of their playmate.

Ehhhh....sometimes, lots of times. Remember that Border Collies are possibly the smartest dogs there are. A girlfriend I once had and I had a sheepdog (dumbest dogs!) and we got a little kitten. Well, things were going swimmingly for a few weeks, the dog loved the kitten and they played together, all adorable and all that. And then one day, the kitten was burrowing under the big dog and sneezed. In one move, the sheepdog jumped up and literally bit the cat's head off. The kitten had a broken neck and died shortly thereafter.

Dogs are intelligent, sensitive, passionate, real...ok i am about to cry....

The look of sheer joy on Sola's face while she played with her kitten was a pleasure to behold. There's nothing like the innocence of a happy dog! And the kitten, tweaking the nose of his giant friend, was obviously have a great time, too.

Sola and Jerry have come along way, it’s beautiful to see them playing! What a lovey story.❤🐈🐾🐾

We had a Jack Russel Terrier and a black cat that did the same exact thing. Looked like the cat was scratching our dog's eyes, but he never had the claws out when they played. Miss them both

She's so very careful around the kitten when playing. Fills me with joy.

I’ve read so much about Border Collies and from what I read and researched they are incredibly intelligent and have high emotional intelligence as well. They have high empathy.

I love the gentleness of Sola to Jerry when he touch his paw to Jerry he make it gentle and I notice how Jerry trust Sola when they play and do slight biting. Sola was very careful in playing with chicken nugget. Sola protect Jerry not to get hurt.

I absolutely loved the part about Sola's tail being like a big feather; I hadn't thought about it that way. Sola dodged the snow, Tido wasn't so smart to avoid it, all around it was so much fun to watch. Wishing you health, happiness and prosperity in the new year. Also use saline nasal spray from a chemist. This really helped me.
