I am so thankful for people like you in this world.

Goldens are the best. You can't go wrong adding a golden to your family. The only draw back is their life span. We wanted our golden to be able to live longer. But while she was with us she made us complete and left us with great memories. We miss you Abby everyday.

We had a golden who lived 19 years. We were very blessed. I saw a Reddit story the other day where people were freaking out about someone bringing their Golden to the park with children around. I reminded them that this was a Golden Retriever. They supposedly knew someone who got hurt by one because it was excited and jumped on them or some such thing but I’m not sure I believe that.

My first golden was almost 15 when we lost her. Now my golden Gracie is 7. No you can’t beat a golden. Sweetest disposition ever.

The fact that Mom doesn’t react in fear to the dog goes a long way to acceptance all the way around.

Where would we be without our beloved little pets ❤. Thank goodness for you.

Bailey is not a dog. He is a saint! We can learn from him how to better human beeings.❤😇

Perhaps you have seen the amazing video from many years back. A cat with two kittens seems to introduce them to a dog friend. It did not look staged, it was outside. The mother cat greeted the dog and then moved aside to let her kittens get to the dog. I am guessing the dog was female, but maybe not. That these friendships exist, perhaps between street animals as it appeared, is amazing to me. Perhaps dogs and cats have become more intelligent, less driven by instinct for when I was young, dogs and cats were usually enemies. That no longer seems to be the case.

I've NEVER seen a momma cat sooo accepting & relaxed! Obviously she's proven right! She KNOWS she can trust this loving, gentle giant!❤🐈🐕🤗

From what I've learned interactions between species and within species are really dependent on many factors. Cats will fight other cats, lions especially will have a leader if a pride and they fight to the death to earn it. In a world of limited resources, I don't think it's that surprising that survival has necessitated competition. These videos are an escape from reality
