Man, I wish I could buy Cindy’s house. I’m in sevierville in a 3/2. I’m just not ready to sell yet. I’m hoping I can get Randy to build a similar home someday. Prices will be sky high, I’m sure. Good luck to Cindy.

Thank you for your support. Miss Scotty’s house is still for sale. Her lot in forest will have to be negotiated through ITH. Miss Scotty does have a mountain lot leased that you could talk to her about

Moving 1.5 hours away from Louisville. ITH is not building because new home has to be built to ky builder code.

Various reasons... sudden illness requiring a move, change in circumstances that necessitate a move, moving to be closer to family and only permanent foundation homes allowed there, etc.

Don't expect many actual reasons from the people selling. Most of the time, it's just going to be "changing circumstances" type blah blah... Truth is, for most, they bought sight unseen and lifestyle unknown. This type of home is great for a minimalist and not so great for downsizing. For most the circumstance that changed is the realization of that. But they're trying to sell what was sold to them so bland blah blah nothing reasons is what they'll give you.

I hate saying this, but I also have zero reason for disbelief... this entire project hits me like a "senior scam". I am in my 40's, and I've been watching this for half a decade. Spent several years offering advice. None was acknowledged or taken, but no worries. Then you come to Nevada... I always ask non-fly-in tourists, I-10 or I-80? You never been here, you'll never know the difference. I drive tourists for a living; I always ask. Fly in, drive? 80? 10? You learn everything you need to know very quickly. I made a few comments on the ITH Nevada property videos... recall naming it Slab City 2... because that is what is was it going to be... except with rent. I live in Nevada; my entire adult life has been spent in this land. I know Nevada better than any east Mississippi person ever will. You tried to build Slab City 2, and I told you No. Wasn't me saying it; was me telling you what they were going to tell you. I-10 sucks. Wanna see the REAL West? I-10 is dust and scrub and cactus. The REAL West is I-80. Wanna see the real West?
