THANK YOU! Not even Tineco provides this much insight and tips for their own vaccum.

It's Saturday morning here and thought I'd clean my trusty Tineco A10 (purchased in 2019). I'd broken a jar and used it to clean up the finer bits. All was well until I started to remove the top filter behind the blue cap. Tug as I might I couldn't get it to budge. I decided to ask my husband to remove it when I had the bright idea of going on KZread. Eureka! Your video was just what I needed. Who knew in that dark canyon lurked a tiny screw. Thank heaven I didn't tell him to yank it out. Thank so much for this very helpful video. I like that you got right to the fixing part and didn't spend half the time in chitter-chatter. GOOD JOB AND THANKS AGAIN!

I got this vacuum for 60 bucks at Walmart a couple years ago.

Whow!!!! You just saved me from tearing my hair out. I fixed the problem following your video - yeahhh!!! And, you two are so darn sweet and cute together..:)

Just an FYI, you don’t have to take open the bottom latch to access the filter. You can pull the filter out without opening it.

Absolutely right! Just have a habit of emptying the tray whenever I remove the filter.

I've had mine for 2 years. I've noticed the max button is hit or miss as well but everything else works just as good as day one. I love mine. It's socks up even dust on the floor. BUT My neighbor has the same one and his quit working 3 months after he bought it. I think these vacuums are hit or miss. I used to recommend all the time but now I've seen several people with them breaking easy or just stop working while mine is still going strong. I bought mine for $80 and as good as mine is you really can't beat that

I think you're right about the hit-or-miss, thing. Thankfully ours is still working hard here for us.

I love tineco it’s such a great price it works as well or better than another high end vacuum that will remain nameless.

Score! Now that's a good deal

Another point - even with the entire sucking wand/mechanism detached from the motor (including filter and dust bin) the motor runs for 3-5 seconds with light flashing and the quits. Hope this helps.

Not sure what's going on. Have you checked the small flap on the front of the unit with everything detached? Sometimes gunk will make it stick and not allow the unit to stay on

how do you remove the clear plastic bin to clean it ? or how do you clean it because mine is no bueno and like needs washed but I cant figure out how to detach it

We just use a damp rag to clean the bin. Haven't figured out how to remove it.

Interested in this vacuum. It is currently on sale at Walmart but I am curious how often do you have to replace the filters and are they able to be cleaned in between uses. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi there K G, According to the unit, says wash and dry the pre-filter monthly, and replace every 6 months. Then for the HEPA filter, it says to wash and dry the filter every 3 months. Replace once a year. Hope that helps!

@@michelewarren7049 that's what we do, mild dish soap with lots of warm water then air dry. We wait just to be safe until the next day to make sure it's thoroughly dry. Seems to work well, Hope that helps.

Darn, I thought I had the problem solved........ I did all maintenance steps with clean new filters, but red light still blinking and unit shuts off after 3-5 seconds. Any ideas?? Thanks!

How do you change the HEPA filter?

There is a small phillips screw, in the middle of the filter when you remove the assembly.

Soooo. You have to replace the filters? They are not ment to be cleaned and reused? A friend of mine has one and today was my first time using it and the light is flashing indicating that the filter need to be cleaned or replaced I don’t remember exactly. Which also my answer as to why debris is falling out of the part with the roller once I turn the cleaner off.

You absolutely can wash the filter and let them dry before putting back in that's what I've been doing but I'm a year in and amazon has 2 of each filters for$12 and it includes a brush so u can brush the dust off filter so I went ahead and bought that so I can change them

You wash and dry the filters. Main filter is to be washed every month and replaced every 6 months. HEPA filter is to be washed every 3 months, and replaced every year

why didn't you wash the HEPA filter? Tineco says you can, just let dry 24 hours.

I could have, but decided to just replace the both filters and start new again. I know the manual said to replace the filter either after 6 months or 12 months, so it sounded about right

Mines broke after the first use so I called customer service. They told me mine had a defect and They sent a brand new motor. The same defect was in the new motor 😭

Hi Kauwyana, so this video was just a quick update and filter change. We do have an unboxing video of the unit. But to answer your question, it's really simple and easy to assemble. Charging is not complicated at at. It does come with its own charger, and to charge it you simple connect it on the side of the handheld device. I got mine from Walmart too on sale for 100 with 2 year warranty and I looooooove my vacuum so much I'm debating on getting a second one just for my bedroom and no kids allowed to use that one either😂😊
