Not surprising that Tina holds the world record for the largest paying audience for a solo artist.

I think she is universally loved because she represents all of us who have been mistreated and bounce back. Not bitter or full of hate but willing to forgive those that abused us and willing to forgive ourselves for ever having put up with it. And moving on to happiness and success as a result. RIP Tina ❤

Absolutely magical - and unbelievable

Tina is amazing. She looks and sounds magnificent here. Hard to believe it was her last tour. They said she was "passed it" when she came back in the 80's whilst just in her 40's and she made them eat their words. She was nearly 70 here. It just shows age is but a number. Thank you Tina. We love you.

48 years old here. As a child I could not really appreciate her, but over time I learned to appreciate her more and more, and of course especially this song because of the movie, but also because of its POWERRRRRRRRR!!!! And this version just is EPIC!!!! I cried too many tears these past months for other reasons so my eyes stay dry while watching this, but believe me: BARELY!!!!!!

Tina was born in 1939, so she's exactly 70 years old right here. I think that's pretty ballsy for an old lady to ride a platform over 30 feet up into the air and still keep her composure while performing. She is definitely a diamond that was formed in lifes heat and pressure.

When I hear this intro I immediatly get goosebumps - and then her voice with the choir is just mindblowing

She still had it for this show and I love that! It's awesome that she came out in the Auntie costume too!

I know this was filmed 13 years ago, but God love that man that is protecting Tina on that platform ❤️

I remember being here! I was with my grandmothers (a big Tina fan) and I took her for her Bday. I called for 2 hours before I got the tickets totally worth it! My grandma standing there: "It is really her, she is really standing there" she was only a half year older than Tina and having the time of her life! I stilll have the tickets :)

So good. This song is still one of my favorite tunes from the 1980's; I remember watching the movie when it came out, and I think I liked this song better than the film. I went out and bought the soundtrack cassette just for this. Tina's vocals are super, and those lyrics always haunt me, especially: So, what do we do with our lives? We leave only a mark. Will our story shine like a light, Or end in the dark? Is it all or nothing? Respect to songwriters Graham Lyle and Terry Britten.

She is a GODDESS and will always be a vocal phenom.

Amazing performance with such a powerful, emotional voice that will never be replicated. She was one of the best and I thank her for setting the stage for women, of all colors, to be strong and beautiful, self reliant and such an inspiration. My regret is not seeing her in concert. She could barely walk in the original Aunty Entity costume...the full chainmail getup was almost 120lbs. And one of the movie cars had to be modified...because Tina Turner couldn't drive a standard shift.

Watching this performance for the 2nd time and the chills I got. WUUUH! such talent and stage presence. LEGEND!!!!

Blew my MIND when she turned around as Aunty Entity. Im a fedex courier, and ive done nothing but played her music ALL DAY after hearing of her passing and being SUCH a DIEHARD fan. Rocked this crowd at 70 yrs old. Lets c u do THAT Britney Spears. Rest in peace to an extroidinary woman who faced challenges, dealt with them, showed her strength, embraced her failures to empower her greatness, inspired many, did NOT believe in drug use, and loved her fans the world over. She was remarkably a strong and talented woman, and im proud to say shes from my home state.

She's just on a completely different planet, than any other women performer, untouchable fame. That's the power and infulence she's had to the popular culture and music industry. I had the good fortune to see Tina live twice in 2000 . I remember she came out high above over the audience in a fireman’s crane cat walk thingy. Just an amazing show. Great lady 😎😎😎

I atually cried when I heard she passed. An entire world is disappearing. we will never see her like again...the passing of a rock godess and of an era. RIP Anne mae, you can take off those heals, nobody is worthy of wearing them.
