I will give you an example of two female celebrities. Their strengths, and their shortcomings alike. Tina Turner was a talented dancer! Whitney Houston was a phenomenal singer. Now Whitney had pipes. She could hit beautiful notes, like no one else. She could sound like a Meadow Lark, Wren, or Northern Cardinal. You could understand every word she sang, and not screaming either. She sang w/deep emotion. I RESPECT Whitney for her "pure, raw talent"! But NOT for her personal decisions, and choses, after B.B. came in to her life. The thing I RESPECT Tina for, was NOT her performance act. It was the effort she made to help women who were being physically, emotionally, and mentally ABUSED BY THEIR PARTNERS!! By her being strong, leaving her husband, not giving a hint where she was at, but pursuing safety. By showing him, and others she was strong enough to make it on her own, not depending on him. Not tolerating that abuse anymore, that is what I RESPECT about "Tina Turner." That is the strength of "Tina Turner", from my perspective. I' m not saying Tina was no dancer. No,---not @ all. Tina was primarily a dancer. She was very fit to have the endurance and stamina for dancing the entire show like that. Show after show., tour after tour, year after year until she retired @ 70. Although, this concert video shows her 4 dancer's and her dancing quite provocative, I can' t speak for all of her shows. But let me say, as committed she was to her performances, and making a point, I would have no reason to believe the other shows were quite the same. The dancers are basically in bra' s and panties. Tina dressed the part. But from what I' ve seen, with more class. No wonder her shows had plenty male fans. Think about it,---her shows didn' t really leave much to the imagination. What do you think she was promoting? She wasn' t promoting wholesome gals selling "Girl Scout" cookies, was she? The lyrics of the songs also promoted the same thing. Her shows were not Family Friendly Shows, they were meant for "Adult Only" audience's. From my perspective, she would be comparable to a Las Vegas Showgirl dancer, (not a stripper, a "Showgirl Dancer", there is a difference people). Oh she was fit,---and she could move alright. But there was one subject she was promoting, and we would have to be blind not to see, or deaf not to hear it. She was not close to the 'singing' talent of Whitney Houston. Houston' s downfall was Drugs/Alcohol, her downfall was falling hard for BOBBY BROWN. And she did "fall hard" in love. She never was the same after him. He led Whitney down a horrible trail. Whitney & Bobby led their daughter down that same horrible trail. After Whitney chose that trail, no coming back, the addiction had her right to the bitter end, and so too, Whitney' s adored daughter,---as well. So Sad indeed. 😢😭

That is your opinion and like they say everyone has one it doesn’t make it true. Tina is the best the queen of Rocking In Roll. She has a unique voice and it is her and nobody else can sang her songs the she does. Whitney I agree is so talented and no one can sang her songs but her. They both are so talented and remarkable women. I think that Tina was very respectful on stage. I total disagree with your assessment of Tina.

She turned 70 in November 2009. So, what's the big deal? The point is, she had her last concert the year she turned 70.

I've seen Tina live in concert twice since 1985 in Houston ...So thankful and blessed to be in one of the highlights of my life!! SIMPLY THE BEST!!

She is 70 years old, here!! So high energy!! after 1:20:00 for 8 minutes long she is upon the bridge! She is unbelieavable!!!!!!!!!!! Isn't she a phenomenon? a miracle?

Yes, she put on a sexy seductive show without being vulgar. Plus she could sing anything, never missed a note and her timing was impeccable. One of my favorites is Love Thing. There are so many that are excellent, and so many are my favorites. There was her performance for the Pavarotti show, flawless performance and beautifully written lyrics.

It was hard to watch her in those heels up there so high above the crowd. She had no fear at her age. Most people over 60 don't have good balance with flat shoes. It was really amazing to see but I was afraid for her.
