Everyone speaks so well of Sam Cooke. He must have been a remarkable guy.

There’s a few really good books about him, check out Dream Boogie . He was on another level as a singer and person. I don’t believe anything about the story of his death.

I just heard Tina Turner passed away and immediately thought of this clip that I saw several years ago. RIP, Queen 🙏

The Howard Theatre is still there in Washington. Glad to see such an iconic musical venue not being demolished.

So can I and have done just that because I have memories of my mother playing his music 🎶🎶

In early 1963 Tina recorded a song called Too Many Ties That Bind that has the same melody of A Change is Gonna Come, recorded by Sam in 1964, it's almost the same song with different lyrics, but the same deep soul feeling. That said, I think Sam Cooke appreciated Tina's work more that she thinks :)

I did say that Sam Cooke was every woman's fantasy. I hope he makes it to heaven.

I love Sam Cooke and Tina Turner. Heaven must be filled with glorious music! What a wonderful story.

Of course he knew her. What humility she has. He was attracted to authentic sound/ artist. She was and still is the only female with that voice and that performance style. Totally unique …. That’s why she’ll forever be great! 1000% he knew her. Looool😂😂😂😂😂

He was born Sam Cook, and added the E to his name when he became a soul artist. Both Cook and Cooke are correct.

Actually,she first met Sam Cooke and his brother L.C.Cooke at a church. She and Sam were talking in a hotel room.They did NOT have sex.

Elisa Boyer🇬🇧🇨🇳 22 years old when She met Sam Cooke before He was murdered She accused him for trying to rapped her she took his clothes as she have her stuff but what was left Sam's long coat & 1 👞 Elisa was trying to report about Sam Cooke trying to rapped her but she ran into the phone booth trying to call the police when Sam Cooke bust into the office which He thought Ms. Boyer was hiding from him Bertha Franklin at age 55 years old have a 🔫 she shot Sam Cooke on the chest He shouts " Lady you shot me" they both fell down the stairs He was stil coming after Ms. Franklin She grab a broom stick clubbed him until He collapsed & died. Bertha Franklin serve no jail time but forced to quit her job she moved to Michigan until her death. Elisa Boyer got away from Sam Cooke's murder she was arrested for prostitution, & in 1979 Elisa Boyer was arrested again for killing her boyfriend as an reputation she was sentenced to life without parole woooow
