Tina Turner’s Husband Will Inherit Her $250 Million Fortune

Almost half of Tina Turner's estimated $250 million fortune will go to her husband.
The 'What's Love Got to Do With It' singer wed music producer Erwin Bach, 67, a decade ago following a 27-year affair. In 2017, he gave a kidney to save her life, and he also helped her through her other health problems, including a stroke she suffered shortly before their wedding in 2013.
Afida, 46, Tina's singer daughter-in-law and the widow of her late son Ronnie, told the Sunday Mirror, "As she married in Switzerland, I think around 47 per cent will go to the spouse and the rest to the children."
After meeting in 2007, Ronnie and Afida Turner wed in 2011. He was 62 when he died in 2022 of colon cancer-related complications.
Tina adopted two of Ike Turner's boys, along with a son named Craig from a prior relationship with singer Raymond Hill, when she was just 18 years old.
Tina's "saddest moment as a mother" was when her son, Craig, took his own life in 2018.
Afida continued, "Tina's two children are Craig and Ronnie - she never adopted Ike Jr." This could cause issues in dividing her estate, she said.Craig and Ronnie are the only 'blood' descendants because they are the only ones that were born after she married Ike.
There are currently no other people in existence with the surname "Turner."
Afida insisted, "I'm not here for that," meaning she wasn't interested in Tina's cash. Respect for my in-laws' mother has brought me here.Nothing has ever been given to me by anyone in the Turner family; that's just the Turner way, OK?
Despite the success of singles like "What's Love Got to do with It" and "We Don't Need Another Hero," Tina earned her estimated final wealth of $250 million in other ways, as reported by Celebrity Net Worth.
In addition to her roles in films like "Tommy," "Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome," and "Last Action Hero," she starred in the 1993 biopic "What's Love Got to Do With It," which detailed her rise to fame and her fight to keep her stage name after divorcing her abusive ex-husband, Ike Turner, who died at the age of 76 in 2010.
Two years before her death, she reportedly made $50 million selling her image and music rights to BMG. She subsequently passed away in her $76 million Swiss chalet.

Yes true love. Obviously two great people who found each other. Always thought Tina Turner to be a kind person. She was a guest on the Oprah Winfrey show and came across as a very warm and caring person. Really don't know anything about Erwin her husband, but must have been a great guy.I grew up in Germany. We all listened to her music and thought she was absolutely incredible. Still do. RIP Tina Turner. you are being missed.

Erwin Bach doesn’t need the money; his own wealth is estimated at over 50 million dollars. Tina’s wishes should and will be respected but I’m glad he will get a large part of her estate; aside from her astounding talent and strength, it was his love and support that allowed her to fly so high. The man gave her a kidney because he didn’t want to lose her. I feel for him. They obviously made each other happy. Much respect for him.

They couldn't care for her, she moved to Switzerland, I doubt if they even was able to visit her, that far away. Plus, she wanted it that way.

I believe someone's inheritance should go to the person(s) who contributed the most to someone's life, not the fact they are blood relatives, which has nothing to do with anything actually. The person(s) who cared about the individual should inherit the money/property or whatever.

Tina separated herself from her Bullock and Turner family, who were not supportive of her in her earlier yesrs. She gave up her US citizenship to be able to own property in Switzerland, where she lived with Edwin, her German second hisband. She believed that she had suffered in her younger years from racism in America and from the hands of Ike Turner. She was happier with her second husband in Europe. She separated from Black people in general, although she held on to a few Black friends. She achieved personal success and accumulated a fortune and could live as she saw fit.

Why is this news? Unless she left a will, a spouse always inherits the estate.

Plus Ike Jr is locked up here in my neck of the woods, about 10 miles away in the Brazoria Co jail because of during a traffic stop he had drugs on him.
Remember that he too was wealthy on his own. He should receive it. Apparently, Tina made very clear arrangements ahead of time with all of her kids so that there would be no fighting or complaining after she passed.
