Proud Mary is the name of this song. It's forever imprinted on our brains. She did it just as well 30 years later.
Its A great performance and song... legendary!!!!
Even in death, she will always be a Classy Lady & a LEDGEND ❤❤❤RIP TINA 🙏 YOU WILL ALWAYS BE LOVED
She was an amazing dancer and she had her legs insured for millions. Iconic. Moves and music.

She was beautiful and very talented 👯♀️👯♀️👯♀️👯♀️
My heart Is broken. I’ve loved Queen since I was old enough to hear her voice! So many (today) could learn from her class and grace. Tina was successful before the civil rights movement. Tina worked hard…Hard. Had a rough life! Never once did she speak about racism…Instead, she appreciated all she accomplished.
There will never be another Tina Turner. What an inspiration & those killer legs. I’m so sorry to have never seen her live. I saw a video of her live when she was 69 & she still had the same energy as when she was younger. Absolutely amazing! She will be sorely missed!
I love CCR and the original version of this song, but Tina Turner owns it, it's the very best of all!!!
Your right ,true crafmanship of his music over the whole production. Best soul music ever ,Best artist too. Love your Tina . Bless you.thankyou.
Losing Miss Tina hits me a little different! When I was a child, I don't know why I thought this, but I thought she was like me, biracial. Her skin tone was close to mine and for a 7 year old in the 70's that was everything! She exuded confidence, strength, and inner beauty as well as outer beauty! She was everything I wanted to be! Rest easy Queen and know your crown will never tarnish!

It is a fair thought to make since like many African-Americans our skin can go from brown to light brown and she even loosely discusses her mixed heritage in 70’s modestly successful hit she wrote called “Sweet Rhode Island Red”, describing the woman and in a sense herself, as “mulatto”. Also, on a show called African-American Lives which pre-dates the now-10th season of Finding Your Roots, Dr. Henry Louis Gates found out she was 65% African, 1% Native American (to her and many other African-American celebrities’ chagrin b/c of their parents’ old wives tales) - which, even though it isn’t 50/50, my thought in this - if the ethnicities were flipped the other way, it would certainly be considered mixed. Take with that what you will.
The one and only Queen ! No one will ever take her 👑
The woman had moves, song and legs for days. I’ve said once and I will say it again, that woman had legs that most of us wish we had at 17 that she had at 65.

Tina Turner and Cher broke all preconceptions of age, beauty and fitness in the 80s.
Wonderfull, maravilloso, apoteósico!!!!
Tina can put on a show!! Woot woot
Thank you. This is wonderful tribute to Tina Turner! May she be bringing her soulful music to the angels today! 🥰🎵😇
Wow hadn't seen that footage! She's absolutely BEAUTIFUL and super talented ❤
R I p Tina Turner 🌹🌹🌹🌹 ❤️
Greg, "Proud Mary" was actually written by John Fogerty (Creedence Clearwater Revival). So I suppose that cleaning plates in Memphis and pumping 'tane in New Orleans were maybe his experience. Ike and Tina just covered it. And I am SO GLAD you said what you said, I was wanting to say it, but hesitated . . . I'm real sorry Ike was "the way he was," because I LOVE his voice!
The song is titled "Proud Mary," Greg. It's actually a cover of a CCR song (my favorite version).
Ike and Tina Turner was rich in dollars 💵 and music 🎶 back in those days. No one had an electrified performance like them, especially Tina. She was the only one in those days that sang and dance.
Such sad news! Another one of the greats is gone. Tina Turner was the "Queen of Rock 'n' Roll". She spanned over 6 decades of music. She started out with her husband Ike & had some great hits such as "Proud Mary", "It's Gonna Work Out Fine", "River Deep-Mountain High" & "Nutbush City Limits". But she had even bigger hits when she went solo such as "Better Be Good To Me", "Private Dancer", "We Don't Need Another Hero (from Thunderdome)", "Typical Male", "The Best", "I Don't Wanna Fight", "GoldenEye" (James Bond movie), "It's Only Love" (duet with Bryan Adams) etc.
This is a cover, originally done by CCR (Credence Clearwater Revival)
Greg, you would really enjoy the many live performances featuring Tina and various rock artists. Tina and Brian Adams is one for sure. Live is always best!
RIP TO THIS LEGEND
Live Tina is the best she sounds so smooth. RIP
I loved this older version. I love the newer Proud Mary too. Hopefully Greg with share another treat with us, by playing her more recent cover of this CCR classic. Seeing Tina dance in those "hooker heels" reminded me that she actually had steel heels on her shoes, because standard heels couldn't hold up under Tina's explosive dancing.
He had an ear and a deep voice. Average guitar player. As they grew in popularity, it was Tina people came to see. He was such a control freak and narcissistic that bothered him. When he lost Tina, he never regained that level of popularity again. The song Proud Mary was written by John Fogerty of CCR on the back of napkin in a hotel room. But Tina owned it and John loved her for it. Shine on the Queen of Rock and Roll! ❤❤❤❤
Great Great cover !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was lucky enough to see Tina performing with Ike...it's the only thing being old makes it worth seeing the greatest performers of all time. Work it girl. I cried when Elvis died and I cried when Tina died yesterday. It's still unbelievable to watch her and the girls and Ike. My two sisters and my mom would do this number in the living room and trade off who would be Tina, including the hair flip. It's the greatest performance, along with James Brown and Elvis...may they rest in peace and much missed.
Oh my goodness...the legs on that stage could reach the moon 😍😍
I am an 81 year old white woman , retired RN, and I just subscribed due to the fact that you have reacted to my all time favorites-STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN, TINA TURNER, DIMASH , just hope you can get to BTS and So Hyun.
Hadn’t ever seen this live version. Love it! Thx for reacting to this one. Great seeing early Tina .. and how on earth did she expend so much energy and still have enough breath to sing?! Fantastic
Great reaction. I loved the cover of this in Miss Congeniality 2.
It's pretty well-known that Tina rarely knew what song Ike was going to play next until he has started playing it. Even here, you can tell that she didn't know he was going to start the song again, but she handled it like a Queen. May she rest well. ❤️
Ike and Tina Turner got their start and used to play in an upstairs bar off of West Florissant & Hodiamont Avenue in Jennings Missouri . My family lived down the Road The Queen was a River Boat casino that used to cruise up & down the Mississippi River . @ which time slot of people lived down off the river!! They Both definitely earned their place place among the best !
Ike’s famous words she’s nothing without me 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You should reactie to Tina turner best dance breaks
RIP Anna Mae Bullock , she change her name when she joined Ike's band. John Fogerty composed the song and CCR had a hit with it, Tina took it and made it hers.
Her legs were insured for 1 million. Her estate at her death was is 250 million. Ike died relatively broke. I saw him with his band Ike Turner and the Kings of Rythum at the Jazz Fest in NEW ORLEANS a few years before he died. He did some great covers and had some really good musicians with him.
So glad you called Ike what he was.....
I would love to hear interviews with the band who was playing with Ike and Tina during those days.
The song is "Proud Mary".
I saw the Ike and Tina Turner Review in Atlanta in 1974 or 75. It was a small venue and she was spectacular. I thought she was also great in Roadwarrior, Thunderdome.
To me this is her best song
Yep if I tried dancing in those heels I’d break an ankle😂😂😂
She will definitely be missed. Such a talent. RIP
Tina put this song together. Tina liked the song and wanted to do a version and came up with the nice snd easy first part and rough second part. Ike had to be talked into it as he was reluctant at first.
hi greg.... you are so handsome. tsup!
They did Boyz II Men! End of the Road
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🎶🎶💯
Ike and Tina did two to three shows a day and never slacked one performance.
This version is actually a cover the original artist is the band Creedance Clearwater Revival❕❗ You should check it out❕❗
Impossible to sit still 😊
Best legs.
If you pay attention to the dancers, they are doing "the swim" only one of them can't swim and keeps going under and has to hold her nose under water. LOL.
New subscriber. Love the reactions. Also the first time i thought you was Bijan Robinson 😂
Your face .. .. yeah .. . ..
Tina taught Mick Jagger how to dance. Tina was a Buddhist. She'll be reincarnated and return to us all.
Love your channel and your reactions but I had to stop watching! Domestic violence history with Ike. I much prefer Tinas 1980 performance at the age of 60 at Wembly stadium! What a strong and talented woman! RIP Tina there will never be another you in my lifetime❤❤

@@MarySmith-ec5pm yep I got that wrong! But dang regardless of her age she is a powerful entertainer!
Ike was not a nice person, he was however AMAZINGLY TALENTED.. the two things have nothing to do with each other
I wish Ike wouldn't sing at all
Ike abused her...
This is the wrong version to watch. I usually don't watch anything with ike in them for reasons.
I agree he was good but please God hes can't sing
