Seriously you want her to rest in peace for living all these years. But yet today no American parent or child has peace of mind because there's more school mass shootings in this country than anywhere else in the world. You want her to rest in peace when 85% of all American children experience some type of abuse and neglect during their childhood primarily because of drugs and alcohol. In other words if she gets to rest who do you think should not? Because her predetermined systematic response to life-and-death didn't prevent America from having so many problems she didn't entertain and sing to people using her voice in a manner that would make each and every moment physically mentally financially spiritually beneficial and rewarding she did the opposite. In layman's terms those who make the most of each and every moment did to rest in peace. Those who don't are spiritually paying out and picking up the tab on all these missed moments of opportunity.

@@fifermcgee5971 First of all a true queen leads their loyal subjects in a manner that is physically mentally financially spiritually beneficial and rewarding within each and every moment of life. As you're praying for Tina to rest in peace there is not one American parent or child having a moment of peace of mind because they live in a country that has more school mass shootings than anywhere else in the world. In other words your theatrical predetermined systematic response to life-and-death has resulted in America having the highest violent crime rate drug alcohol dependency problem in the world at the same time the lowest standards of quality pertaining to air water food landscapes working living environment everyday products. In addition to having the most soft lazy out of shape over fed undernourished overworked underpaid or vice versa overpaid under work weaklings in existence. In other words I guarantee Tina Turner would not want to be born into today's America versus the potential America had when she was born so your crocodile tears are completely empty along with anybody else that is crying over a life that did nothing to improve upon and maintain the quality of it to the highest degree that is possible you can't handle the truth because it is far less work for the brain to stay in denial than accepting reality according to top scientist, brain specialist, criminal psychologist, and psychotherapist along with leading physicians. Man you people are really in denial. Because she ran away from a man that was abusive by running away she left the door open for him to continue his abuse with other women simpleton are we clear? In all honesty she left the door open so wide and long that millions of today's Americans are willing to support and follow a romantic failure that is constantly consistently aligning and surrounding himself with those who commit the weakest form of criminal conduct which is a sexual crime. What kind of favoritism and leniency do you think leaders and judges will give those who commit such crimes considering they have been charged with or paid out or still have sexual allegations pending them self. So in truth she did not accomplish anything of real significance for the American people.

Maybe it's you that's in denial. She did what she had to do! Do you think it was easy to leave? You're not a woman, and you never walked in her shoes. If any other woman experiences what she has; that woman will make her decision. Maybe you shouldn't push your narrative on others!!!! So what are you suggesting she should've done? Each woman decides and hopefully will find support in her time of trouble or need.

One of THE best concerts I ever attended was The Private Dancer tour with Miss Tina Turner. It was the only time I ever got up at 5 a.m. to sit outside of Ticketmaster. I was the first one in line, and even though I was first, got the lousy nosebleed seats at Cobo Hall. We didn’t care, she was electrifying.

I am not a fan of live/open air concerts - BUT I saw HER in Hannover (Germany) June 4th in 1990... and still remember this energy, the good vibes all around, people enjoying it to the fullest, the air full of her great spirit - she truely loved what she was doing... and this overwhelmed all of us. THANK YOU for the music and everything else... hope your soul is in very good hands on the other side.

I agree she was Queen of Rock music. There will never be another one like her. She was strong, not afraid of challenges especially the challenge of getting away from big bully Ike Turner. She got away from him and rose to fame on her own. See, Tina, you did not need Ike for that. Loved her, will miss her. Rest in peace Tina.

Still I'm sad and glad. So sorry to witness Tina pass away. She had the voice, charisma, energy and "sisu" to overcome all the obstacles and make it on her own. So glad she witnessed that triumphant comeback in the 80s and honours in Kennedy Center. She also had time to enjoy her retirement, a peaceful tranquil life with her closest family and friends. Her music will live forever.
