I just received this watch, and I'm trying to set it up....the only thing that really bugs me is that I don't know why it doesn't show the little weather barometer icon on the main time display screen. I also set my home altimeter and that doesn't seem to show when I go to the altimeter mode as my "current"....I need help from someone who has one lol

Why didn't Timex include a solar cell to help the battery, and to afford minimum capability if the main battery is dead?

When you set the watch it asks you after you set the date

When u change time and date. Press next next. U will get that option

Does your body temperature affect the accuracy of the watch??

I have one of these watches and I love it but due to an accident years ago half the band is missing and I can no longer use it but since it has been discontinued I can't find a replacement if anyone knows where to find a replacement band at a decent price that won't require me buying a whole new watch please let me know. Thanks for reading this. :)

I don't think you will be able to find a cheap band as the watch is not a standard size.

the timex website seem like got selling EXPEDITION® GRID SHOCK strap,but seem like same strap with tht ws4 model

The 0 and 9 look terrible in the dot-matrix display. They should be more rounded off.

can u dive with this?

It only has 100m water resistance which is generally considered not enough for scuba diving, but ok for swimming and snorkeling. Having said that, I used to scuba dive with my 100m Casio BM-500W and never had any problems.

Its hard to see clearly at night?

I love the barometer - which is one of the few things which is usable daily and has not yet fully been replaced by my phone. That font is horrid though. The number "2" looks especially shitty. I prefer the classic fonts on something like a casio
