Harden is the most productive offensive player (not greatest) in the decade, and it's not close. A 36/7 season is unmatched all time. That unguardable tour was amazing, given his supporting cast. I recall for a while CP, capela, gordon all injured. They took a G league guy in house and signed rivers, faired, tucker, who were on the waiver.

Not so sure. In 2018, CP3 was injured in Game 5, but the Rockets had a 3-2 lead and homecourt advantage. Warriors won in 7. In 2019, Kevin Durant was injured in Game 5, the Warriors had a 3-2 lead and homecourt advantage. Warriors won in 6. Also, 27 consecutive missed threes is an ultimate choke. Even the 3016 Warriors who choked a 3-1 lead in the Finals never missed 27 consecutive threes.

In 17-18 the rockets took golden state to 7 games in west conference finals. That same year in the finals, that Cavs team got swept by golden state. Also head to head Rockets swept the cavs in regular season and won by 32 at Cleveland. Lebron was on another level carrying the cavs but had they met in the finals, Houston beats the cavs.

Rockets had good 3-and-d players in Trevor Ariza and Luc Mbah a moute in 2018 which was part of Houston’s success that year. When both players left the rockets were exposed defensively. But to agree, either way Golden state was just too good.
