The fact that we lost Jay Briscoe, Terry Funk, and Bray Wyatt last year… fucking heartbreaking.
Easily a 10/10 video looking forward to the 2024 one

Rest in Peace Bray Wyatt
I’m happy you covered all promotions from AAA AEW AJPW CMLL MLW TNA WWE ROH NWA NJPW NOAH CZW and Stardom seen all from 1980-Now what a life of wrestling
Shinsuke starting off the year with a win via kissing his opponent is hilarious 😂
Cultaholic has been the best wrestling channel for the last 5 years
I know that last year was one of the most monumental in wrestling, but 1:12:51 is the best. And the funniest entry too
i can't wait to see the TIMELINE: 2024 In Professional Wrestling
Who knew that double dog collar match would be the last time we'll see Jay Briscoe

Same with Wyatt at Royal Rumble
I just gotta say I’m surprised and saddened at how many wrestlers have passed away last year. I knew it was a few but I didn’t realize how many there were. RIP to all. But on a lighter and more positive note. Awesome job on the video guys. Love it keep up the awesome work and keep em coming! 🫶
Remember being really disappointed, sami and cody didnt beat roman. But nothing they did then would as been as big or good as the recent wrestlemania. One of the best examples of trust the process.
Great work!!
1:12:51 Good One Tom!
Quality compelling video chronicle of the game-changing year in Pro Wrestling that was 2023. Can't wait for the 2024 edition.
don't see why you didn't mention kairi sane returning to the WWE
Dang.....we can make history of WWE part 2 with this type of quality content.
This whole video i was expecting to hear about the most recent Vince McMahon sexual misconduct scandal thinking it happened last summer, only to realize it happened a couple months ago. I swear this year has been so wild 😭
2023 was great, but I can only imagine how much better it would've been with Bray on board. I know it's not everyone's thing, but he's the whole reason I came back to WWE after several years...I just had a feeling he was slowly building up to something very special on this last comeback. RIP Bray.
Still hard seeing the man who got me into wrestling pass away so suddenly. I’ll always owe my love of wrestling to Bray
Sam’s the most underrated member of Cultaholic
Awesome I love these videos 😍
I always enjoy these timeline clips. Keep up the amazing work 🙂
2023: the year everyone's catchphrase was WTF?!
Always an excellent watch. What an insane year it was! Many thanks to Sam and the whole team for this. 🙏🏼

Well done
What a crazy year it was!
I really enjoyed this! Hoping for more next year!
Oof, just remembered Muta's post-match interview...
Man I was at the IMPACT tapings before Josh had to vacate the title his promo with Maclin still gives me chills
That would be a fun timeline video 2003 1993 of 1994
That was absolutely brilliant. Well done folks. I’d love for yall to do one for each of the years previous. I really enjoyed that.
Played this on the background while cleaning my bathroom
Oh wow, just realized this is an hour & a half long. Definitely going to enjoy this on the nice rainy evening I have before me now. 😄👍
Minor addition: I finally went to my first ever Mania hahaha
I really love these long videos describing everything. As a new-ish fan I feel like it gives me a chance to learn all about it
"Popular local star" is an unintentionally hilarious way to describe Sami Zayn at EC
Rest in power bray ❤❤
Nice one Sam!
great as always Sam
9:47 i was there for vengeance day, fun night.
Thanks 🎉
20223 is gonna be looked back on as one of the craziest years in wrestling history ever
Great job! 🎉🎉 I'm having a rough day, you helped me. Let me forget my day. Thank you.😊
For someone who has just fully got back into wrestling. I thank you for this.
It would be very interesting to get a 2000 retrospective.
2023 was a hell of a year for wrestling
All of them!
The year wrestling changed forever
I love these
It would be Absolutely Brilliant if during these Timeline videos you could pause during any entry of any day and find a link going into deeper detail of each thing. It would be a massive undertaking and could almost be an entire website all on it's own with people that just gather and confirm information considering how many different sources and types of data that would be needed to make such a thing possible. Granted I could totally just pause and go Google search whatever topic I want but the odds of that happening especially when on my phone are very slim, now if the info were readily available by tapping on a link that could also bring me back to the video I'd be more likely to go down those "rabbit holes". It would essentially end up taking all day to watch one of these depending on how interested people are about the details of what went on during the time. 😄👍
This might be the first one of these I can actually say I watched all of this happen. 😄👍
I love your videos
I love these so much. So glad to see this today.
RIP to Bray Wyatt, Jay Briscoe, Terry Funk, Iron Sheik, Killer Khan, Superstar Billy Graham, Kurtis Chapman and all in the wrestling world we lost in 2023.
Takeshita beating Omega was about as pointless as Solo smashing Cena
I shouted out loud to no one, "oh hell yeah more timeline"
(disclaimer: these are my opinions. If you're a die-hard wrestling fan please don't respond) 2005, was my junior year in high school. I absolutely love to wrestling from 97 to 2003. 2005 upwards were those dark ages... I was not a fan of the ruthless aggression era, I will never forget coming back during this time. Because of Stone Cold, just to immediately stop watching again because he stopped showing up. I am so happy wrestling is cool again. These were some dark times.
2020 easily is a wait for me for the next timeline
been waiting for this! what year are they gonna do next?
what a fantastic review!!! awesome work guys!
1:04:29 looking at the poster for AEW Dynamite’s Grand Slam I have too ask “is there too many titles available to win in AEW?” I don’t care if it’s a NJPW or ROH title you can still win them all if you work for AEW. Even in AEW (male titles) there’s the AEW World Championship, AEW International Championship, TNT Championship, FTW Championship, Tag Team & Triple Team Championships, Best Theme Music For The Audience To Sing Along To Championship etc and that’s without the women’s titles, ROH & NJPW Championships all available to an AEW employee
Daaang. 5:22 What a lovely picture of Gunther \ Walter getting married, just based on that shot alone they're going to be happy forever. 😄👍
Losing Brey still hurts to this day... crazy year!
2004 would be nice, seeing how it was 20 years ago.
I’m waiting for 2022

He did one on 2022 awhile back.
This is probably the year with the most wrestling deaths, with so many happening between january and february.
1:05:25 I got the privilege to see Mustafa Ali’s return to Freelance Wrestling in Chicago last night. Received a true hero’s welcome home.
Man '22 & '23 never stepped off the gas
Do more of these videos
Haa! 17:25 This looks like Jack Perry cosplaying as Hollywood Hogan. 😄👍
Awesome video guys, wouldn’t mind if they were even a lil longer 😂
Rest in Peace Jay Briscoe
As for other years to cover? Well 2019, 2020 and 2021 to round off more recent history. 1993 with Hogan's WWF departure then and because I'm interested to see major wrestling moments in my birth year covered. Also how about 2000 and 2001? Those would be a doozy.

How about covering the year 1984
Do 2003
I actually met Kenny “Sodbuster” Jay daughter at my aunt’s wedding and I have a autographed photo of him fighting against Muhammad Ali.
I’ve seen all from 1980-Now 2023 another year down
15:50 Texas Death Match in name only. Look up the rules, rhis is a no holds bars with a fancy name
Would have liked more lucha mentions. CMLL has Homenaje a Dos Leyendas("Homage to two legends") every March as their big spring PPV. Mascara Dorada(II) made his debut as that gimmick at Fantastica Mania Mexico event debut which is like their Fantsatica Mania tours in Japan, but NJPW guys coming to Mexico instead, he took on Desperado. They have other big tournaments & shows as well : Universal Championship Tournament, Leyenda de Plata, Torneo Nacional de Parejas Increíbles/"National Incredible Pairs Tournament" & Torneo Gran Alternativa/"the Great Alternative Tournament", Annual Day of the Dead Show, Gran Prix a big annual Mexico vs. World elimination match. Overall was hoping to see more lucha on this list. As is felt like only the biggest AAA/CMLL shows get a shout while NWA/TNA get multiple shout outs. Big news story missed as well : El Cuatrero of AAA was arrested for attempted femicide and is still in jail. That happened in March of 2023 around the time of the NWA/AAA show at The World is a Vampire tour. He was attempting to kill his ex-girlfriend Stephanie Vaquer and this is an ongoing story as he has yet to have his court date. Hope if you do this again for 2024 Lucha gets mentioned a little more. Homenaje a Dos Leyendas("Homage to two legends") will probably get mentioned next time since AEW guys were in the main event? Anyways, good video, 90 minutes isn't a joke even if lucha wasn't mentioned as much as I'd have like/think is appropriate.

The way wrestling has been the last couple of years, i would t be surprised if the AI has in fact already taken over and is scripting the universe
From great highs to the most depressing low of my wrestling fan life...
kudos to the video creator
38:57 **WWE Women's Undisputed Championship** For what ever reason they never decided to explain. Bayley called it that on smackdown 😂
Well done lads, keep up the good work !
How about 1987?
Damn. Poor IWGP, seems like they've lost most of their biggest main eventers over the past year. Think I saw at least 3 matches in a row where both sides (champ + challenger) aren't even in the company anymore. No wonder they just made Mox champ. 😅👍
2003
RIP to all that died. On another note, how can someone lose a match to a TITLE?? I thought Vince beating God was out there, lol.
Gay Lord is my favourite wrestler.
Was this not one of the greatest years for wrestling ever?
