The barn that Al built. Oh my gosh!! I have followed this barn build from when it was in the discussion phase. As I watched the time lapse I was surprised at the amount of labor. You made it seem so simple, Al. When it was shown daily it didn't seem like quite as much to me. This barn is truly a labor of love that will stand the test of time and be a testament to hard work, drive and dedication to the dream of one man. Good job.

I watched this barn build from the beginning everyday and I found it so therapeutic and fascinating to watch. As I was watching this full length video of the complete build, it reminded me how much I enjoyed watching the original videos, but it also showed me how satisfied you must’ve felt seeing all your hard work come to fruition with the awesome end result of a fabulous barn. To complete such a massive structure, pretty much on your own, with help from your wife, you showed that anyone can do anything, if they set their mind to it but also that your homestead was important to you and that you will shed blood, sweat and tears to make it succeed. Well done, it’s a credit to you both. 👍🏻

What a good looking barn! A follow up video would be nice, about how you feel about the barn after a year, any problems with the kit, etc. Also, how did you finish the wood? And was there an option for a sturdier roof? Those panels are attractive, but don't seem like they would hold up to snow or a solar install.

I enjoyed watching you build this barn at normal speed as it captured your hard work and thought to careful measurement and even your mistakes. All in all its pretty awesome! I remember building my 10×16 workshop out in my back yard by myself. Besides installing the main roof beam and the row of Windows across the top, I built the whole thing pretty much by myself. It was not a kit. I purchased the blueprints and bought the materials as I built it. It was cheaper doing it that way and allowed me to add whatever I wanted including a loft they never included in the plans. I ended up adding two lean two additions onto it two years later. I added insulation and drywall as well as wiring. It turned out nice but NOTHING like what your barn looks like.

The first house we built so very many years ago was a kit, boards labeled A1, A2 etc. Funny to think of now. That was before the computer age so I wonder how we found the company. Quite the learning experience. 2 story, 2 bath, 3 bedrooms, 2 car garage. Amazed we did it.

I've seen videos where an entire Amish village comes together to raise a barn. This was the opposite of that. Amazing!

Very well done Al! I picked up part of the way through this build, and I must say, I really enjoy your videos! Nice family and you're a good guy! If it wasn't so cold up that way you'd make me want to live there! :) Anyway, kudos on the build, it came out great and the woodshed is looking like more of the same. Great attention to the details and it looks like you've truly enjoyed it as well! I'd say you're a very lucky guy, but then I can also see that you've made your own luck! Well done indeed and all the best!

Fun to watch it so fast! I noticed You didn’t install the strips to seal the corrugated ends to keep the bugs out. You could foam from the inside. Keep those wasp nests out!

That is really cool. And the prices are pretty reasonable on the surface of it. When I get my place, if I need a barn, I'm doing this lol
