TIMELAPSE OF FUTURE TECHNOLOGY: 2022 - 4000+

The journey to see future technology starts in 2022, when Elon Musk and SpaceX send the first Starship to Mars - beginning the preparations for the arrival of the first human explorers.
We see the evolution of space exploration, from NASA's Artemis mission, humans landing on Mars, and the interplanetary internet system going online. To the launch of the Starshot Alpha Centauri program, and quantum computers designing plants that can survive on Mars.
On Earth, tech evolves with quantum computers and Neaulink chips. People begin living with bio-printed organs. Humans record every part of lives from birth. And inner speech recording becomes possible.
And what about predictions further out into the future, when humans become level 2 and level 3 civilizations. When NASA's warp drive goes live, and Mars declares independence from Earth. Will there be Dyson structures built around stars to capture their energy. Will they help power computers that can take human consciousness and download it into a quantum computer core. Allowing humanity to travel further out into space.
Quotes about the future from: Arthur C. Clarke, Stephen Hawking, Albert Einstein, and Elon Musk

    I agree with some here that the predictions are optimistic based on our current rate of development, but also, there is the AI wild card that could lead to rapid & prompt advancement in many fields, and I'm assuming that it's weighed into these predictions which makes them more imaginable.

  • @marshmellowmoon7990

    If it makes you feel any better there are already flying cars, a plane car with fordable wings and a helicopter car and if I remember correctly they can both fit in a normal garage. So we will get there it just might not look like what we think it will. And those old flying cars weren't in anyway realistic they either needed to warp gravity or use thrusts (which would just be fuel inefficient). My point is that they were being unrealistic for 100 years in the future so just be realistic by thinking that in a 100 years we will probably only have small amounts of infrastructure in the solar system. Or AI or some other new tech will actually snowball us into amazing technologies, if there's one thing that humans are very bad at it's predicting the future.

  • @NoMustang273

    @NoMustang273

    3 жыл бұрын

    To an extent yes. But I doubt we'll sit on Earth forever. We already have space missions and plans for many, many more. Flying cars just seemed like something that would be the next step but it was much harder than they thought it was and is arguably not worth it. Space travel has real possible benefits and our collective fascination of space has been there for centuries.

  • @marshmellowmoon7990

    @marshmellowmoon7990

    @@NoMustang273 The problem with the flying car analogy is the people that came up with the idea both didn't really think through if it really was any sort of good idea and also didn't really grasp how long some things will take to get done. I give it 200-300 years before we have the solar system fleshed out with many outpost and infrastructure, it's just unrealistic to think we could fully colonize mars in 100 years, it takes us that long to colonize some places on earth. I say we could have a full city on mars in 50-100 and a large amount of colonization in 200-300 maybe even to earth level of infrastructure. But then again humans are just straight dog shit at predicting the future so we may be way further or way behind that.

    I really love all the possible technologies that seem to be in the grasp of our hands as an intelligent, driven, self aware consciousness that we all are. At the same time I am very very afraid of those same possibilities. Because as human beings, in comparison to anything or anyone else we know of, are flawed. We let this thing we call Ego creep in, Ego then becomes the enemy of rational thinking and the Antagonist to our protagonist self consciousness. Ego brings its friends Pride, Will, and Choice. They are the equivalent of the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse. It is the story of humanity we see unfolding in front of us on a daily basis. This is the reason I love it and fear it. But reward goes only to the ones who risk. The risk is high, and the only form of payment the Universe will accept now or later is Life and or Time. Neither can be renewed and both are ever fleeting... I enjoyed this and your other videos. Thank you!
