That's how 80s music does it causes chillbumps all over u😜🤓🙉🙊
I was only 6.5/7 years old during the latter 80's, and even then this song brings back memories of long warm summer care-free days, slap bracelets, family and friends, and the endless possibilities that seemed at our fingertips then. What a different time that was. No internet, no phones; just our imaginations. And I think that's what made the 80's so timeless: All we had was each other and the imaginations and creativity within ourselves to create a fun and beautiful life.

I know exactly what you guys mean. I was born in 82 but remember 1985-89 very well. The feelings and the vibe were almost heavenly. One could argue that everything was even more vibrant experiencing it at such a young age, our young minds soaking everything detail in like a sponge. Our first experiences and emotions in life were all 80s. Yes I remember the slap bracelets very well among a whole host of other things. I remember riding my bike around our neighborhood street in the summer of 87 and 88 as well. I swear the sun was a different tone back then. I know there was high solar flare activity going on the 80s...so the tone may have in fact been different. Never the less there was something just magical about it. Very special time. I miss it so much sometimes. Then the 90s hit, culture and society began it's trip straight to hell.

In my opinion, this is probably the greatest synthwave track I've heard. The piano tones, the atmospheric melancholy that's simultaneously longing, nostalgic, sad, and triumphant - it sounds like thinking of the very first person you ever had THOSE kinds of feelings for, now such a long time ago...reminiscing about everything that was and everything that could have been. If only things had worked out and they were still in your life... Even painful memories become golden in the light of memory.

I've come to the conclusion that being a child of the 80's is not just nostalgic, it's a state of mind, to be a dreamer, to live in a care free world full of adventure, where good always triumphs over evil and friends and family are forever young. May the neon lights never go out!

Some of the best comments here on KZread. These (in addition with his pictures in this video) made me smile big time, thank you! Patrick forever in our hearts! It's hard seeing him in pics and films sometimes tho, because he was one of those who defined quite a big part of my childhood and youth, and esp because, yes, he put so much soul into each performance he had. Just a look in his eyes said everything, that he lived the characters and didn't just play them. A look into his eyes often gets me teary-eyed a little because they mirrored his soul. I truly believe he was a good-hearted human being. He deserved so much better.
Rest well mr swayze. This was the best era in my lifetime. I was a kid, but so many good memories...

A few years ago (2019), I got my first job and one of my coworkers recommended me this song. I was hooked. A few weeks later (same year), I got my first car. That same night, I went for my first night ride in something that was fully mine. This was the first song I listened to in it that same night. The weather was cool, all my windows were down. Just my teenage version, my car, no interstate traffic, and this song. Today, I am selling this car and I decided to listen to it for the very last time. It has brought back so many memories that I will forever hold in my heart. I wish artists knew how much their craft can impact people. Love you always, baby Altima.

Breathe in, breathe out Your lips so cold Your street, our house where we begin We're kids and you're whole We won't be alone, no one can ever know Standing you're what I'm falling for But you'll never put it down We know, we grow, we fall ,we crawl, to change proclaim, for this, we miss, to breathe, deceive, from fate to fate, exist , insist , we push , we lust We know, we grow, we fall ,we crawl, to change, proclaim, for this, we miss, to breathe, deceive, from fate to fate, exist , insist , we push , we lust These days, and these nights are all us All us is all we need Don't speak our words are for us For lovers till the end We won't be alone, no one can ever know For once and all, criminals and lovers fall Standing stood on the dark side, But we'll never run it down We know, we grow, we fall ,we crawl, to change proclaim, for this, we miss, to breathe, deceive, from fate to fate, exist , insist , we push , we lust We know, we grow, we fall ,we crawl, to change, proclaim, for this, we miss, to breathe, deceive, from fate to fate, exist , insist , we push , we lust These days, and these nights are all us All us is all we need Don't speak, our words are for us For lovers, till the end.

Timecop 1983 Forever ♥
I haven't commented on KZread Videos before but I felt like I should to this after listening to it for 4 consecutive days. The 80's vibes huh! Well I was born in the late 90's so at first I thought I might as well miss out on it. But! then Black Mirror happened! The episode San Junipero! The energy, the music, the lights and the sheer joy in the environment made me believe in something which I have never seen. The magical 80's where people just tried to "live" and not be alive. Then Stranger Things and voila! I started listening to more synth music. Everything about this song is pure gem, you can be speeding on the highway with this song and feel the wind blow on your face, you can feel it in a bar sitting quietly somewhere, you can even feel it on the terrace and just looking at the stars! But yeah! Don't forget, imagine all of this as if you are living in the 80's without your Mobile Phones and Social Media. Its just you and the world! Just you and the whole world!
I'm 37 born in 1980, I got good chills of nostalgia listening to the tone of this song. Certified 80s style music here kids

When listening to this makes me so emotional. I wish I could travel back in time and hang in 80`s for a while. Watch the same movies like it was the first time, drive in cars from that era, play Nintendo or Commodore, hang out in the clubs, feeling numb of neon lights and signs, meet the people I`ve never seen since then. Wowww!!!
