Great build Rex..... This new buggy gets me excited. Tamiya have really delivered here for sure. Great editing, the build flowed so nice with that mystical Drum n Bass soundtrack..... worked a treat! 👌 I used to DJ/Mix this style out for many years, was great to hear something like this on a build video. Its a really nice gem, reminds me of their higher ends line up but in plastic

If the pricing makes sense in your area, I’d recommend it if you like 2wd buggies

Love the paint job you added to it! Not sure why but I never like the box art. It is okay on the BBX but this is so much better.

Hello, to protect the rear Dampers (V1 Parts), you can use A6 and A14 Parts instead of A10/11. = Rollover Protection is done 😉

Hey Rex, it’s great to enjoy this hobby “together” via KZread. I saw a new Kyosho MiniZ buggy 2 days ago at the local RC shop, and your miniZ optima video came to my mind instantly and that was during 2021 I believe …goodness, how time flies.

Thank you ! I knew mustard yellow was the way to go as soon as I saw these things, it also fills my kyosho scorpion void lol. Hex hardware has been a nice change from the tt-02 and reminiscent of the TRF’s Ive been able to play with

Liking this BBX, at last a modern long travel buggy from Tamiya. Love the colour, not keen on the box art (too similar to the Super Champ/Fighting Buggy, but guess that was the point).

The martini decal came as part of another sticker sheet i received with a car I dont remember, it may have been the lotus 49 from fenix racing but mciracing should be able to help you out

todays smaller modern esc should be no problem as I used a early 2000's esc which is larger than hobbywing 1060
