a good idea would be to get the injectors serviced by mrinjector while the inlet is off for cleaning seen niki gower say it plenty of times, the injectors not flowing properly has killed a few of these engines, starts with a small misfire, can end up with a big issue. my 113k BWA had 3 injector with weak streaky spray patterns.

Dazza 2017 any remap will increase wear and if incorrectly done say goodbye to your engine but otherwise it should be fine

Ive done a k04 conversion on an AXX engine, R tech mapped, 360bhp 390lb/ft torque with DSG, you can fire away any questions, what kind of info you need to know?

Just brought a leon cupra tfsi 240 , 110k , full history , hpi clear , £3400 going stage 2+ , Previously had the golf mk5 gti BWA stage 1 , Tfsi cars are such a cheap easy way into tuning / fast hatches. Milltek non res £400 Decat £110 Autotech intake ( came with car ) Ram air filter £50 Autotech fuel pump internals £350 S3 ally end tank intercooler ( nissens ) £140 new Then rs4 pressure valve , new diverter , pcv , oil pickup , 5w40 oil change , bp super , Service , Keep it up TR Hamza !!!

Have you considered K03 hybrid? It’s basically a K03 casing with K04 internals. A lot easier to do and you’ll get the same results. You won’t need to relocate the DV. The two most popular hybrids are Beachbuggy K360 and Turbo Technics K03 hybrid. These are straight swap and you won’t need to mess around with pipes. You’ll obviously still need stage 2+ bits. Plus you’ll get a brand new turbo :)

This is what I like to see guys and girls who fall in love with their cars. By mods or just plain detailing them to a very high standard. The dash in the Red GTi is actually better than the one in my MK7.5 GTD. Although it was not mentioned in the video the shine on the Red GTi was a result of many hrs from a cherished owner. Brilliant guys.

Hey can ask the guy of the red gti where he got his head unit and the ac controls.

2009 GTI $2,000. he says that it's shutters sometimes when you come to a stop in to first-year also it will go into limp mode... The gear indicator on the- will flash.. besides when you turn it off and back on.. it will take off... And drive normal should I get it?

Depending on which Brand's K04 you use, some (CTS & APR) have the DV machined onto the Turbo and won't require a relocate kit. Would suggest also doing a oil sump service or replacing your oil pick up if you havn't already as the last thing you now want is a low pressure issue and failing oil pump. When doing your HPFP Upgrade, see if a stud kit upgrade is available for the HPFP as overtime those bolts tend to lose their thread

I have a ‘09 GTI. K04. APR engine/DSG tune. Intake. Intercooler. Turbo-back exhaust. Coilovers. Sway bars. Engine mounts. Subframe kit. Bigger brakes. 19” wheels. Fun car but to be honest too much wheel-spin in 1st and 2nd. Lots of power for a small car but damn I wish I had AWD. Too much invested to sell (for now)... but that Golf R though!

I wonder if you get Mk5 estate, GTi treatment that would be possible?

Same here. Looking for a good head unit for our mark5 GTI in 🇨🇦 but not 100% sure the opening is the same for the export VWs compared to Europe

Get a stubby aerial/antenna, such an easy change but makes such a massive difference to these cars

R-tech PCV delete kit with the pipe venting to the atmosphere.

Go to r tech they are best in the business when it comes to these engines. My friend got his Leon cupra r 265bhp mk2. They mapped it stage 2+ 377bhp and 380 ft lbs of torque. Would have made more power if he had a front mount intercooler and rs4 return value would take it over 400 ft lbs of torque

Ko4 Also comes from the Gti Edition 35, you would need the edition 35 /S3 series 2 injectors too and fuel pump, R8 coil overs, what’s your engine code, rather get the Garret GT35 turbo or the .42 turbo, I can see you don’t like that loudness of the exhaust , I agree, it makes on stick out like a sore thumb- like riced

Can someone give me more info on upgrading a diverter valve. Hamza mensioned that hes changed it on the Gti and now it should be producing more towards 200 bhp. What would doing this to my 2015 Cupra 280 DSG do for my car?

Stock DV's are prone to breaking which leads to losing pressure. If you are stock on your 2015 Cupra, there is no need to upgrade this part. When running higher pressure, a GFB DV+ is advisable.

RTech in Nuneaton is the best place to do this mate! No other tuner comes close to Niki.

Are you going to fit an intake first? Maybe do a sound comparison before and after also. Anyway good luck with the GTI, your videos are fun to watch.

it's a high mileage engine was the crankshaft brgs changed to competition parts

Only half way through, but sounds like a lot of intake increase but no mention of a fuel pump upgrade in the tank. Is this not needed for the larger turbo?

Not usually for K04 applications under 400hp. Just the HPFP upgrade. Most tend to do a in-tank upgrade when going K04 hybrid/400+ from what I’ve seen

My MK5 is currently APR stage 1 with a catless downpipe. I was Considering selling for a Mk6 35 edition but this video really tempted me to go the ko4 route. Man I'm so confused.

Mk6 ed35 has the golf 6 R motor, stage one chip will go from 235 hp to over 300 hp

@@AnilAksakal Nice...and a Wagner Intercooler/Autotech-HPFP/Wavtrac-Diff with either the APR or REVO software will do nicely..You'd be looking at around 335 bhp....

0-62 is irrelevant in most situations tbh. Rolling grip is there provided you have good tyres and handling mods. FWD is totally fine in the 300s

K04 straight bolt on tbf. Only thing I’m sure about that is the dv needs to be relocated🤔 s3 injectors must needed and whilst you have the intake manifold off best do the runner flap delete with the APR kit. Bigger intercooler or wat they tend to call them using the original intercooler twintercooler 😂👍
