@@thf1403would run out of space here for the full build spec but it has been further upgraded since this video with much needed LSD. Running 360bhp/538nm. Stock AXX block with a TTE370 hybrid antisurge core. Oil I am running comma motorsport 5W/50, with a Bartek oil cooling system, temps peak around 120° but varies from track to track and time of the year.

@@coolguy_2997 With from wheel drive you can cane it in the corners as soon as you get in... it's a different driving style, and that Golf is fast even in straights and especially uphill indeed.

​@@MoroniGivens-jq9mi Because you can mod and easily get 300hp+ in an old vw for the same price as a standard audi, merc or bmw that'll most likely be na. But yeah if looking at mk7 golf gti and up just go for a m135 or m140 hell even a 225D would be better

All the noises in the cabin, seems like a really raw driving experience, this was a fun watch

Of all the video cameras I almost always looked at the rear camera...the gray GT3 was getting closer...😅 but with Misha driving at the limit with this well-prepared Golf he was left behind...What a ride👏👏Well done PRO MISHA and Super Golf👍🔥

Man, I felt that lap through the cameras. That felt like a good lap. Exciting car, great passenger/owner.

I like that you always if possible add the social handles of the owners. Great way to be able to follow their projects! Nice car Kumi!

I like how this mk5 gti sounds when it's at limiter it's so aggressive this is the only mk5 gti on the internet that doesn't sound like a vacuum cleaner that has a pop and bang tune

Nice lap. I know that lots of people get recommended crazy stiff rear sway bars to get that playful feel below the normal traction limit. Fun for spirited driving and street runs, but way too stiff when pushing terminal velocity on a track with proper tires. Same with toe aggressive alignments. In my experience, anyways.

Extremely fast Volkswagen Golf 5 GTI and extremely good tuned,,,it can clearly see the difference between stock and this one tuned-it is extremely large and extremely huge difference between this call him racing package and stock-the stock can not move even 10 percent of this what i called truest and purest racing racer's car,,,great job it is done a great job with the car my personal think is that this 5 GTI weights in strength around 400 or 500 horsepower and between 500 and 600 newtonmeteres of torque,,,it is freakin' fast insane fast car,,,it revs up so smooth that it is beauty to watch the video

@@ScottVanHornenot much but little bit more downforce by reducing vortexs and act as a wall preventing the air from the high pressure region crossing over to the low pressure area above the wing. Help in turns and protect form the winds too ..

This is one of the top videos for me. Its so quick, and playfull..(for mentioned reasons). You can really have fun with this car. You have to work the car. Amazing..! With a bit of tune up it can be a real weapon (even more).

If i’m not mistaken, i think this was the same weekend as i was there (not for our lap, i came back a month later) and you had the volvo engine incident? I remember seeing this car in the carpark and the yellow flag area has the identical slide marks that i have in my footage from the day… anyway, that aside, amazing car and amazing driving! Some of the fast sections were unbelievably fast!

Mk5 Golfs are just so excellent, this one must be awesome now with the LSD added.

For a long time, auto boxes from almost all oems were turned the ”wrong way” i.e up - forward. Many still are to this day, and I misshift as soon as I get into one.

Epic! I've just bought and restored an Edition 30 (Mk5 GTI special edition). I have a video on my channel I was going to do a similar project to this, but I have a Megane 250 track car instead. I have built a Scirocco track car (same platform). Not quite as extreme as this... but has B16s, fully polybushed, Aston DB9, 4 Piston calipers etc - was very capable but did lack a bit of "special" feeling at the limit. I'm really surprised this one has stuck with the R32 calipers. The TTRS/DB9 caliper is lighter and better pedal. This looks like a lot of fun though. They are really nice cars. It hooks up nicely and the weight saving defo helps! The driving position in this car looks amazing as well. That's one issue the PQ35 cars suffers from, the wheel is too far away. You could perhaps swap the dsg stick direction by wiring the microswitch on the hall effect sensor different, but to my knowledge only been done a couple of times.

Following your build man! I have since fixed the paddle shifter on the steering so the gear shifter is surplus now.

I have that wing too, but can you tell me how do you keep "in the same place" the wing? I didnt see any screws or rivets or anything... how do you keep the wing from not moving to a side to another or even fall off?

Not only is the shift lever activated backwards from what you would expect, but even the gear indicator in the gauges lists the gears from highest to lowest going left to right? Huh?

It actually snapped in the first few minutes 😂 been replaced with a much better cage mount now.

What's the point of 2nd gear when it asking for 3rd, then 3rd is already asking for 4th rather close ratios for not much pull?

I am amazed a fwd no lsd, does not torque steer with that power? Do I misunderstand the drivetrain, or is there tech to balance torque steer?

It almost seemed from the video that front and rear dampeners were not a good pair. It seemed that rear hopped up much faster than the front after compression which upset the balance of the car many times during the lap.

Basically you can get on the power a bit earlier and hold a bit more speed through the corners. It is a game changer.
