LYRICS
Light up to them
In spite of everything they threw
Take down the pictures
In spite of everything you knew
This is not the way out
For you to go
I love the rejects
With courage and a drive to prove
Face down your regrets
Embrace your destiny and choose
But this is not the way out
For you to go
Brake lines, they shake the ground (shake the ground)
Falling one by one (one by one, yeah)
Bright-eyed and better now (better now)
Broken bone by bone (bone by bone)
But this is not the way out
For you to go
Brake lines, they shake the ground (shake the ground)
Falling one by one (one by one, yeah)
Bright-eyed and better now (better now)
Broken bone by bone (bone by bone)
It's better now (it's better now, better now, better now)
It's better now (it's better now, it's better now)
It's better now(it's better now, better now, better now)
It's better than you ever thought you'd feel again

    They're not bad songs at all, I like his music, and I like Tim, but the truth is, with melodyne, _anyone_ can sing "so good". If you've used the software, you start to be able to pick it up. Personally I like when singers just go without it, and only add effects. Just let the mistakes be. That's what makes it _real_ , that's what makes it _human_ . Wish Tim would just toss the autotune, I bet he sings just fine without it.

  • @Emerica.

    @Emerica.

    7 ай бұрын

    @@NiVoldiza Melodyne is used manually for vocals and instruments, unlike autotune which is done automatically. First you said he uses melodyne, and then you said, “I wish he’d toss the autotune”. So which is it? Also autotune doesn’t make a bad singer sound good. It doesn’t work like that.

  • @NiVoldiza

    @NiVoldiza

    @@Emerica. Nah, auto-tune is an umbrella term for these types of pitch correction programs. Melodyne is the brand name of a specific one of them, at least that's how I've understood it. What's your point, are you indirectly trying to imply, that he's not using pitch correction software?

  • @pappasierra703

    @@NiVoldiza you arent wrong about autotune. The other guy is just trying to sound smarter by using semantics. Singing in key isnt so important anymore with the tech used in recording and production, but a singer should have good tone and delivery, which Tim unfortunately does not have

    I have a love/hate relationship with Tim. He has good takes but he’s also the ultimate fence-sitter on some issues. However, I support him because I think he is genuine. He moved out and built a home/commune/farm/studio in the countryside. And he’s using his wealth and influence to engage in a lifelong dream… playing music with a band and having everyone hear it. I think that’s awesome and congrats to him. He’s created his own platform and is sharing his music. I think it’s fundamentally American.
