Watching Tim Smith and Josh Owens take on the challenge of recreating GOLD RUSH moonshine is like stepping back in time to an era of rugged pioneers and their spirited endeavors. The art of distilling brandy using traditional techniques is a craft that tells a story in every sip. Cheers to history and innovation!

I have to go 60 miles round trip just to get what you guys make..I have a likker store close by but they don't have Sugarland or Tim's likker and I keep asking them to get it cause the only thing they've got is what they make at Sturgis. I can't think of the name of it. Something saloon with a guy named Jesse's liquor..I've tried Tim's and Mark and Diggers so far and that's about it..I used to hang out with shiners back in the 70s but I never learnt anything cause I's mostly their goffer when they needed tobacco and food cause they pretty much stayed up in the woods all summer and nobody ever bothered em...Those were the good ol days..I'd grow myself some herbs and I tried to talk em into making a run out of it but they all had their own recipes and nothing ever changed..4 different kinds was all they ever made..Apples were plentiful back then cause they grew wild. Pawpaw likker was another one, corn likker was plentiful and wild grapes and strawberries was used alot..I miss those days cause it wasn't nothing like it is now..Where I grew up you either made shine or worked coal mines or both to live...Everybody was grateful for what lil bit they had..I was mostly into mechanics and hauling likker for those ol guys cause they all treated me like I was their own cause I had utmost respect for em..
