Steve lacy has some of the most compelling harmonic structures in the RNB genre imo. Dude knows his stuff if you look into him.

Love that clean tone and playing!
The way the pick sounds in the last riff is so tense. Great playing Tim. Ice those hands.
Absolutely phenomenal bro!! I’m super super stoked for my TOD10N keep up the badassery ❤️❤️
After learning Neurotica, i can't wrap my head around 1:48. Its so clean, its perfect. The last quarter of that riff is so difficult to play clearly and in time. Definitely the hardest riff in the song, excluding Scott"s solo ofc. And he's not even trying.

Epic vid. Pre-ordered your guitar back in january, should be here this summer. Ill also be seeing you guys April 1st!!!!!
Those sound super versatile. I have to wait for a full on play within a mix. On my TV speakers the high mids sound a tad harsh. Be interesting to hear how that fills a mix as I am sure it will easily cut thru and be clear. Again though there is a very distinct change in every position and voicing. Well done on the design and implementation.
Such a man of perfection, preciseness with the cleanest 🙏🏻😭
His way of composing riffs is so strange to me, it s beautiful and very dynamic, a lot of things going on. So particular to compose with midi/keys the guitar parts. This guy s a monster👌🏼🔝🎸💯
Those pickups look and sound amazing
when tim henson uploads you have to drop everything that you are doing that very instant, whether it be your child, your guitar or even your second guitar, and you watch the video.
I really miss the sound of your signature guitar. I hope so much you will be back on it one day
Wow they’re so versatile!
Out of any of the more traditional 24 fret humbucker pickup options for guitars I think this is right up there alongside some of the top line PRS's. Love your style and tone choices. Hoping to get both the TOD10 and TOD10N in the future

Is your ear cuff the most extra IEM I've ever seen or is it just jewelry 👀 because that's so fuckin dope, I love it ❤
I have purchased the Fluence Signature Series Tim Henson Pickups, in fact, it can achieve 9 different sounds using a 3-way switch and 2 Push-Pull potentiometers, which makes it more intuitive to use and similar to other past Fishman Fluence pickup designs. The two single-coils together sound really great, and I can understand why they didn't make the bridge single-coil work alone on default 5-way switch, it sounds a bit harsh, but at least now I can choose whether or not to use it. However, I'm not quite sure why they didn't add a voice 2 for dual humbuckers. It doesn't sound bad, maybe it's because it would make the circuit too complicated or the sound would not be unique enough. By the way, the voice 2 sound is basically just brighter but loses some of its power, the official website also mentions that the peak frequency moves toward the treble.
all pickup positions sound so good i wouldn't be able to choose
These pickups have everything!
Just ordered these I cannot wait, I havent updated my RGs pick-ups since highschool, evo 2 s
Definitely gonna have to get these for my other guitar, super stoked to get my TOD10 too tho
Even though I probably wont upgrade from my Tosin Abasi signature pickups, these sound awesome, Fishman doing great stuff

Loved the nod to Sithu Aye there. Senpai's finally getting noticed.
Amazing, When I hear this I would just love a 60min song of totally different parts of playing, reminds me so much of Mike Oldfields classical Amarok record with one 60min long instrumental journey(song).

Wow these pickups really make Tim sound like.......Tim :D I guess the only thing this set adds is the hyper clean neck mode that almost sounds like a nylon guitar. Could work well in a live setting where the songs call for both nylon and electric sounds. Congrats on the sigs!

This commercial doesn't require any words.
Could you explain the difference between the following combinations please? 1) 0:41 / both humbuckers splitted with first coil on / selector on position 4 and push down 2) 1:30 / both humbuckers splitted with first coil on / selector on middle position and pull up Both sound very different but I'm not sure to know what is due to the sound settings on your software vs the guitar's settings. Is the difference about a preamp setting inside the guitar? Any chance you would one day release these babies for 7 strings? Thank you!
Hey, this is absolutely a way for people who can’t afford a new guitar to get the pickups and do some work into an existing guitar for cheaper. Just takes some of your time making sure everything fits right, etc.
With such a beauty on the screen, how can I focus on the sound ?

I absolutely love that intro segment. Any tabs?
Still wonder if going back to humbuckers was the right decision tbh, the split coil stuff in NLND cut through the mix so nicely and I think a lot of stuff on RYWD has a tendency to sound muddy
